Short minty girl, the struggle is real!
So initial reactions, I did a lot of research when looking for a bike that suits me. I'm 5' ft tall, exactly, 60 cms, I'm a petite adult woman. It's really close to impossible for me to enjoy the Limebikes and other services outside in the Boston area so I had to commit and buy a bike that suits my small height. The minty green is adorable, perfect for what I was expecting, the quality and sturdiness is very obviously there. The assembly was quite irritating -- it was partially put together (which they don't notate is standard for the Around the Block bikes) so following the manual was basically redundant. The saving grace was YouTube and all the assembly videos present to help me along. It's a heavy bike and you may need two people to help adjust things as you put it together. Overall though I love the appearance, I bought a mint basket to match the bike, which will be helpful during my commute. So I bought the 24' because I read the reviews and woes of other smaller woman struggling with the 26'. Their website says 5-6ft for the 26'. It's an utter lie. I'm BARELY holding on to the 24' then it occurred to me, it's not necessarily about height (we are not all cookie cutter humans) its about your LEG LENGTH. I have a long torso and short legs, I'm happy I chose the 24' because it's literally the only choice I had, I have to be on my tippy toes with it as is, but it rides. If I got the 26', I would have to wear platforms to ride the bike. If you're short and have similar proportions, you may want to consider disregarding their suggestion and getting the 24'. There was another reviewer that said she regretted keeping her 26' at 5'1 because she could not reach comfortable. So beware! Also, there is a weight limit of 198 lbs for the 24' tires, something to consider as well if you're overweight and trying to use this bike to get fit, someone heavier than me sat and the bike did not move well. I don't know how they say 300lbs, that seems really insane to me.As far as assembly suggestions, the constant swivel of the seat can be fixed, you just have to get yourself a ratchet and or crescent wrench and turn those suckers SUPER tightly. Their tools provided are AWFUL. Use your own. As far as the seat lever goes, make sure you grease it too. I found myself building it on a carpet because it helped protect the bike from scuffs as I haphazardly carried it during my assembly.I will update after usage during my commute to see how it lasts. I have high hopes!

Probably shouldn’t have paid as much as I did for this
Ok so, clearly during the pandemic people are trapped inside and are looking for an escape, and it seems a lot of us have turned to bike rides. I haven’t been able to purchase a bike ANYWHERE because they are sold out at every store that sells them. Amazon was my last option for a bike- it’s nuts that this was sold for $600. For this amount, this bike was NOT worth it. For a cruiser bike, it should be half this price. The assembly was NOT easy.. I don’t know how to assemble a bike, and the instruction manual that came with it didn’t help at all. The little rack over the back tire came scratched/ damaged / warped. It was NOT easy to bend it in a fashion to attach it to where it is now. Slightly disappointed, I can’t even get a replacement part because this bike shipped from the Los Angeles amazon location ( at least mine did). I rides well, it’s an ok bike seat cushion, brakes work- but the whole assembly process was a pain especially if you don’t have anyone to help you. Price wise- I shouldn’t have paid as much as I did.. this is a ridiculous price for a bike.. if your desperate and have run out of options for purchase and are willing to drop more than $600 on a bike, look no further beyond this.. but honestly, shop around.

Cute and well-made
I love this bike. It's adorable and seems to be sturdy and well made. The mint green is a bit greener than it appears online, but still very nice.I took one star off because it was fairly tricky to assemble, and one of the allen keys was missing. A friend who build bikes assembled it for me. I don't believe I could've done it alone, and I'm fairly handy. The instructions are a bit unclear as they're for multiple versions of this bike, so some steps don't apply. The bike was packaged well and arrived undamaged. I've added a basket on the front which was no problem at all. One thing I'll mention is that it's kind of difficult, if not impossible, to mount a u-lock because of the shape of the bike.

Is as advertised. We like it!
I purchased the Around the Block 3-speed women's cruiser. I like that this bike is comfortable and it appears to be well-built. I didn't see a kickstand as part of the package, so I ordered one separately. Little did I know, it comes with a kickstand! Good! I don't like the colour but it was on sale and these bikes are not generally in my price range as I find they are expensive. I also don't like that it isn't compatible with my toddler carrier for front use. My main reason for buying this bike was so that I could go cruising "around the block" with my little boy. Luckily, my father-in-law is handy and adapted the carrier so that it now fits onto the bike properly. Now my son and I can go everywhere together no problem! He loves it so that makes me very happy. I really didn't want to go through the hassle of having to return the bike. I also don't like that it is made in China. However, beggars can't be choosers. Overall, we love it.

There was a part missing so the bike wouldn't pedal.
The bike looked amazing, there was some assembly needed, but when it was assembled, the back wheel would not turn. The Shimano gear mechanism had a ring hanging loose and it appeared that the part it fit into was missing. I live in Canada, and after calling Sixthreezero in the USA, they said they could not send parts to Canada. I returned the bike, tracking information indicates the bike was received by Amazon, but I have not yet received my refund.
