For floor and roof installation, we always recommend Siless 80 mil first and then Siless Liner 157 mil on the top of it. **Q: Will this work on the underside of the car as a heat barrier/shield from the exhaust** A: I think the foam would melt or burn and get too hot if it was real close to the exhaust pipe underneath the car. probably wouldnt stick well to the dirty underside anyway. However, if you apply it on the inside of car body above the exhaust area you will lessen the flow of heat (and noise) into the interior.
