I love that you can install this nesting box on the INSIDE or OUTSIDE of your cage. Please READ the description and view photos before purchasing. I read A LOT of reviews based off of not being able to install, lol. It's so simple... comes with the two screws and washer so if you are unaware of how to install that, you may need to reconsider raising a bird, lol. This nesting box is spacious and my budgies got in to explore right away. Hopefully, they will mate soon.

This is a well-made little box. Unfortunately the top opens above the entrance and if you hook it on the outside the Little door you have to raise up on the cage prevent you from being able to open the box from the top. The lid should be on the opposite side of the entrance. So I put it on the inside and they chewed their own hole in it… Got to love parrots LOL

I have four parakeets and had been searching for a nesting box. I like that this one has ample space, a peek-a -boo door and has been untreated. My little rascals like to eat their toys so I knew the would munch on any new item. Sure enough after four days I see little nibble marks. They like it though as I can see the nesting material has been moved around. It came exactly as described with all hardware for install. I have a large aviary so I needed assistance to attach it to the side. No extra tools are needed for assembly of perch or install.

The wood is sanded down very good there's no way that my birds could scratch themselves I am very happy with this and yes I will be back to purchase more items thank you very much Karen
