Do I have to have a RO system when using for hydroponics

You do not have to use a RO system with the chiller, but you may want to consider one.

Does this replace the under cabinet holding tank for an R/O system or used in addition to it?

You will also need to use the tank with the RO system too.

The chiller has a 3-liter (0.8 gallon) tank.

How noisy is it? Do you have a DB rating?
