Read this for sizing tips! *by M***R on January 31, 2018* This piece is lovely! As stated in other reviews it is really well built.It does fit a bit small, but it's a corset! It has lacing in the back to let out, which works wonderfully.NOTE: The back leasing has a panel that can flip over. So either the lacing can show your skin through it, or there can be a flap of fabric. This extra fabric is not very big, just about 6 inches. If you want the fabric to cover over then I highly recommend getting a slightly larger size than you think you need. If you want your skin to show through, get the size you think you should.As also stated another review the first time you put it on you'll need some extra time. The fasteners in the front are a bit tricky. And when I say 'a bit' I mean rather, since there is a bone in peace directly under them so no give while you're trying to get them fastened. When one goes on if feels like two more come back off again. But it just takes a time or two to get used to. But, leave yourself room with the lacing in the back, do the fasteners in the front, then pull the back tight. Works like a charm.I highly recommend this corset! It is absolutely beautiful. The front fasteners are a bit industrial if you're looking for a costume/vintage piece, but this is beautifully made. (So great for cosplay/steam punk, inaccurate for historical, wonderful for fantasy!) If I am looking for other corsets I will absolutely look at this groups other selection.NOTE- I was originally sent the wrong piece. And by wrong piece I mean skirt type thing that had absolutely nothing to do with corsets, not like they sent me the wrong course it. After reading reviews, I ended up buying the 4XL rather than my normal size which is between XL-XXL. I felt like I should have sized up even more to the 5XL because I had to loosen the laves SO much. the boob area is much bigger than the rest of the corset, so its mixMatched in my opinion. Also, according to the size chart and reviews, the size I bought should have fit me, but like I said, the boob area was way too big on me and I have DDD chest, also the back that laces up was open so wide after putting it on, it looked weird. But my friend stitched the side of the top which made it look much better.So if you have a smaller chest and are wider in the hip/stomach area, you may not be happy with it. All in all, it was VERY well made and absolutely beautiful.
