Beautiful book full of inspirational photos…even if you are not planning to redecorate it is such a beautiful book to browse and full of styling tips to rearrange and use what you already have.

I love shelter magazines and books. They are hard to find where I live, but Amazon has these. They always have so many great ideas for your own house.

While this book had some pretty images, it included numerous full-page and double-page closeup shots of a single object, like a lamp or a bathtub(!), a table, or a bowl of flowers. I bought it because I like to see how old houses have been restored and decorated. This book depicts a single room, not the whole house, and the decorations are of the type one would not easily replicate. Some of the pictures were already in Country Living. Basically, I felt cheated, as though the author was enlarging a lot of photos just to fill up space. It was not at all what I was expecting and was quite useless to me.
