It's fine, it works.
After several attempts at devising a simple hand winder I broke down and bought the cheapest of what appear to be identical offerings. It is simply bent bar stock and flat stock with a few welded up bits. It simply works. Simply. Well worth the $17.

Worked perfectly
Pruchased this in october of 2021. This thing worked great right up until someone lost it for me last week. The end of April 2022 someone else used my truck and when I got it my winder was gone. Time for another if this company resupplies them.

Cheap price but sturdy product
Great value for your money. Reversible for lefties like me, just use loctite on the threads to keep from loosening up. I roll up about 12-15 straps a day with it and hasn't failed in the year I've had it, unlike the cheaper truck stop models I've bought in the past.

Flimsy metal
The metal is flimsy. Mine lasted about a month and half with using it about 4-5 days a week. Pulling the straps off numerous times while tightened down on the trailer caused it eventually bend at the tightening bolt and eventually just ave away.
