Happy mouth for a happy horse
Purchased two of these for my daughter's horses. One is being used on her eventing horse turned jumper for an 11 year old. She rides with very light hands and that mare is perfectly fine with it. We decided that the other one is too much bit for her quarter horse and never put it on his bridle. Instead, it is the extra bit for another horse who is a bit randy and needed to switch before going to a show. He handled the change just fine.This bit is a favorite of the trainer. He doesn't like heavy bits but he wants his riders to be safe. Teaches not to control a horse by the mouth unless no other methods work. This bit is good compromise for forward horses.

Softer on mouth than metal bits
My horse loves the Happy Mouth products and this bit met all expectations

Poor quality
I used this bit two days a week for less than 3 months and it started to wear and show damage. I will not purchase another happy mouth product. Poor quality.
