Mademoiselle 44 Piece Flatware Set by Villeroy & Boch 12X11X5 Silver 4592

Just a health warning that these came incredibly badly wrapped and not in the nice box as shown. Packed in about 10 different boxes some falling open some just bunched together with a rubber band. Given this was sold by Amazon Sg this was pretty surprising. Also these were made in Indonesia not Germany - the boxes indicate this and there is even a little indelible Indonesia stamp on most of the pieces. That said it seems like VB do produce some of their pieces there so I think these are not fake. They feel pretty pretty good quality and look nice and seem good value - so not planning on returning them - but the lack of nice presentation box and the Indonesia stamps may put people off.

This set of cutlery is a lot cheaper than the Villeroy website. Looks good and is just right for entertaining dinner guests. I like the set of serving utensils as well.

We used the set for the first time after a few months and noticed some of them were scratched/marked and possibly used before and now we cannot return it. AVOID at all costs or carefully check each item one by one once you receive them.

Worth the money! Only thing is that the large spoons were designed by Andre the Giant I think. It works okay but definitely 20-25% larger than average.
