Hermit Habitat Terrarium Sand, 5-Pound, Yellow

it was good for our terrarium

First off, I got this sand for my geckos, I mixed it in with a different whiteish sand to be the color that it is. The sand looks good. But soon I had to replace it as a substrate because my geckos got a mouthful of it everytime they launched for food and I bet that didn’t feel good for their little tummies to process. I’d say the sand depends on the animal but other than that I think it’s good. It isn’t as vibrant as the picture you see to purchase it though. I still use the sand to level out the new pebbles. I just don’t think it’s like the most awesome sand ever.

Received it very fast and the hermit crabs are so happy in their new habitat.

Ordered Procalcium sand for my brackish setup. Received instead acrylic coated gravel. Also is not bright yellow. More a natural yellow dirt color.
