The only pool time our toddler grandson had was sitting in a baby"s raft with adults holding on. He's 2, nearly 30 lbs. Soon as we put this swim vest and water wings on him, he was so excited! His mom let him bob around a bit so he could learn to hold his body more upright and also how to turn around, etc. Took maybe 20 minutes and he was off kicking himself across the pool and enjoying the water. His mom stayed as near as she could, since this vest is not a safety device, but more of a learn to swim aid. I am pleased with this purchase as it is well made with comfortable material, cute design. And although it can be adjusted for a snug fit, I do wish there was a saddle or strap that could keep it from rising up his chest.

I got this swim vest for my toddler, and the adjustable straps make it feel secure without being restrictive. It helps them stay afloat and enjoy the pool with more confidence.

Confortable to wear, great color. Work perfect for 3-6 year olds. Easy to use.

Updated: I am updating my review, and adding one star. Because of excellent customer service from the company. They reached out to me and offered a different style that might better fit my daughter. Additionally, they guided me through confirming that the chest circumference was appropriate. Which maybe as important as the child’s weight. I think, having incurred chest to be a little larger on this model, would make it tighter, and stay in one spot better, as opposed to when she’s in the water it gets pushed up a little bit toward her chin. Original post: My younger daughter, is 30#, recommended weight is 20–50 pounds, so she is within the recommended weight, however, it does not seem to be as floaty as I would like, it doesn’t keep her very high up in the water, sometimes dipping her mouth or face into the water.Additionally, the strap does not tighten enough to prevent her from pulling her arms out of the arm holes. It works OK. She seems to be comfortable in it. But I wish it was a little more floaty and tighten more snuggly on her. I would recommend this if your kid is at least over the age of two.

These floaties are fantastic! They’re sturdy, safe, and float really well, giving me peace of mind while my daughter plays. She absolutely loved them, squealing with excitement the whole time! Everyone at the rec center could see how much fun she was having, and several people even came up to say how much they enjoyed watching her joy. Perfect for kids, tons of fun, and a great value for the price. Totally worth it!

I really wanted to love this floatie, but unfortunately the sizing didn’t work for my child. I followed the size chart when ordering, but it ended up being way too big. It would slide down even when he was just walking, so we couldn’t safely use it at all. I do think this might work better for slightly older or bigger kids. For younger toddlers, I’d probably recommend getting the version with the vest for extra support (it just wasn’t available when I made my purchase). That said, the quality itself is great. I ended up lending it to my nephew, and it fits him well and works perfectly. So I don’t think it’s a bad product—just not the right fit for us at this stage. I might try it again in the future when my child grows into it, but for now, it’s not usable for us.

This one I received fits like a vest with arm floats and a crotch strap with neoprene so it is comfortable. This second one is a great product and the 1st floatation device that she didn’t refuse. Buena calidad, muy practico y cómodo y además bonito. A mi hija le ha encantado y no le molesta nada, lo lleva todo el rato puesto porque así se siente mas segura en el agua.

Erstmal schöne Farbkombi und sehr niedliches Motiv. Habe den Gurt für meine anderthalbjährige und 11kilo schwere Tochter geholt - der Gurt sitzt super und die kleine ist viel selbstsicherer schon im Wasser unterwegs als mit Schwimmflügeln. Er gibt uns Eltern ein sichereres Gefühl und erhöht so den Badespaß! Absolute Empfehlung.

Great swim aid for littles. I bought 2 for my 3 year old twins to take on holiday and they were the best decision, the kids do weekly swim lessons but wouldn't be confident in the hotel big pool but with these and adult supervision they may as well have been a fish. It really made a big difference in their confidence swimming in a big pool and they enjoyed being able to swim with the adults. Us parents were at ease knowing they had this extra support in the pool. If you're considering these just go for it, you won't regret it

Purchased for 5 yr old who was nervous in the pool clinging to the edges. After a few hours she is all over the pool building her confidence.
