Very convenient, but after a few months the battery life has cut in half. With moderate use it dies after 4 hours.

Battery lasts at least 6 hours never used longer yet

I got it for neighbor he's a old man his last name is Wilson and he really lives up to the name O Mr Wilson spending some of the day outside and before he had it he was unplugging it and plugging it back in and having difficulties of getting the internet reconnected each time he did that he was getting mad at it like it was his Dennis the Menace and having to call me to help him with it now he is really loving how he can just unplug the base from charging and it does not interrupt the power with the echo so he has no more problems of having to reconnect the internet so if you know somebody that loves going out of the house for a few hours and only has one of them this is a thing for them especially if you have a Mr Wilson

Been using it for about 2 months. Works great, no complaints. Plug it in and go, can't complain!The Alexa does chew up the battery if you leave it without it playing or doing anything. I don't blame the battery for this, as this is just part of the Alexa design. Lasts several hours while playing.It was perfect for taking our alexa poolside. Close enough for wifi, no hassle of running an extention cord.

Pretty easy to use but the battery life isn't very long so you would have to be able to plug it in if you plain to be outside long . I was outside about 1-2 hours and the battery died in that short time frame .

My dad just turned 74 years old and loves “[his] Alexa,” including listening to Amazon music playlists. When he told me that he either had to run a long extension cord outside or turn up his Echo Dot to full volume inside so that he could listen to his music in the garage, I knew there has to be a better way. Sure enough, there’s this and it’s perfect. My dad isn’t very tech savvy and I knew Bluetooth speakers with paired apps would be too complicated for him. This is perfect to allow him to have Alexa at his beck and call no matter where he is on his property. He’s thrilled!

I purchased this item to listen to my echo on the patio. Definitely an upgrade from just using my phone. Battery last a long time. I wish they made a case to travel with…

The unit arrived promptly and as described. Plugged it in and began charging. The unit is well built and when installing the Echo Dot it holds the Dot very well. I just unplugged it from the power supply and took the unit out on the patio and it worked great. I have not tried to see how long it would last on a charge as I was out for only a couple of hours. No issues and would recommend it. There are 2 models available and I chose the "lower" 5600 milli-amp hour unit. There is also another unit with a higher capacity. It was only a few dollars more so still a great value. Overall the height would be about 3 inches. Not unsightly at all.

I'm not sure what the issue was but I had a positive experience for the first 5 days. Suddenly, my echo dot wouldn't play when on the charger. I switched from charging it with the usb port to charging it with the Echo dot plug. Seems to be ok. now.

It is great having this as you can bring it anywhere in the house or outside without having it plugged in. The charge is decent also. Very easy to use and to connect to. I would highly recommend it if you want to be plug free.

I have a large back yard and range with this battery is great now can listen to music 130 feet away from house
