Kipling ALVAR Medium crossbody - Monkey May Vary

This is a great classic design. Enough pockets to keep your stuff safe away from sneak thieves. It has a long strap so it can be worn cross body for extra security. This is my sixth at least all in different colours and patterns. They can go in the washer too! A quality light weight fabric.

Great bag. I like all the pockets to keep items separate and secure. There are occasions when the lining fabric can get caught in the zip. The strap length is adjustable although after a while it can slip and need readjusting. I would rather a more secure way of fixing the length.

I have an upper limb disability so I need a crossbody lightweight bag with ease of access and a decent length of strap that allows it to sit just about hip level. It also has to have a strap soft enough and wide enough not to cause pressure on my shoulder. This bag ticks all the boxes. It's big enough to carry a book in as well as a small sandwich box and I've even had a thermal mug in there! The two main pockets are big and unhindered by unnecessary small subsections that I for one never use. All the smaller sections are on the outside, zipped and secure. This makes access for eg phone, bus pass and keys very easy. The zips are strong and straight so no jamming half way across. The Kipling bags are well made and thoughtfully designed. I think they're good value and intend to buy a few more.

I gave this bag to a friend for her birthday and she absolutely loves it. She find it a very functional bag and a good size. The only negative comment I received was that it doesn't have an internal key strap to hook keys onto. This is a very useful function. I would have given 5 stars if it had the key strap.

Love this bag, I take it everywhere, especially when going shopping and in crowded areas, as it fits around you and keeps your items safe.

I thought the colours were brown and black, but when examined closely the black is very dark purple. The lining is also purple. A practical size many pockets with 6 zips.

Love this particular style of Kipling. And what a bargain price. Navy blue doesn’t seem to be a very popular colour but this shade ticks the boxes. Crossbody bags are my preference and the size and shape of this one are perfect. Three outside pockets which I actually use as I do remember what I’ve put where. I would love to see it in more colours but I suppose as they have so many styles they can’t cater for everyone’s wish. Only one criticism yet another style without the old days signature key holder strap. Come on Kipling they should be in all your bags.

Love this bag- it is so light and roomy. Great for holidays with secure inner compartment.

Tear proof, rain proof a lot if pockets with zippers and it looks good too. Goes with everything and perfect for traveling
