Fun toy. Flies well, returns to thrower if thrown correctly. Lightweight foam is not damaging when it hits house, car, windows, neighbors, everything.

I picked this up hoping it would be a fun outdoor thing to play with in the yard but I came away kinda disappointed after using it a handful of times. The foam material feels light and soft which is nice because it doesnt hurt when you catch it, and it floats if you accidentally toss it in the pool which was a plus. The grip is comfortable enough and my kid could hold it and throw it without any trouble. The problem is the return flight just isnt consistent, maybe 1 out of every 5 throws actually curves back toward me and the rest just sail off in whatever direction they feel like. I tried adjusting my throwing angle, spin, and wind direction like the instructions suggest and still couldn’t get it to reliably come back. The construction feels cheap too, its basically just foam with no real weight distribution to help it fly properly, and after a couple weeks the edges are already starting to show some wear from hitting the ground. For something marketed as easy to learn its actually pretty frustrating and my kid lost interest after the first afternoon because it wasnt doing what its supposed to do. The lightweight design that makes it safe to catch also means even a little breeze throws off the flight path completly. I was hoping for something my family could play with at the beach or in the backyard and while its harmless enough, the core function of a boomerang, you know, coming back, just doesnt work most of the time. If your looking for a safe foam toy to toss around like a frisbee its okay for that, but if you actually want the boomerang experience this probably isnt gonna deliver what your expecting.

Size was perfect as can pack with in your beach bag. No assembly required. Both kids and adults enjoyed playing with it on the beach. It was safe for our little ones too

Gifted this to my 7 & 4 year olds for Easter. We’re having a lot of fun learning how to use it, we’ve had some success with it coming back, but no retrieval catch so far😂 Mixed opinions on the durability, while I like that it’s light and soft due to having a younger kid, but I know it won’t take long for them to completely destroy it, so in that aspect a little flimsy. We will have lots of fun with this, while it lasts.

I bought this boomerang for my son, and we are both delighted! Light, soft, and durable - perfect for his age. In addition, the material is really safe: I'm not afraid that it will get hurt when fishing. We play both by the pool and in the garden, because the boomerang floats and does not lose its shape. 5 star product for young children, not great for 12+ but given that the target market is young children I'm happy to recommend it (with the caveat that older children will find it too easy and the flight path too short too hold their attention.)
