Is this tape in original 3M package? or is it re-wrap around the paper core? Will this affect the adhesive strength?

3M only offers that product in 36 yard rolls so all short length rolls go on to a rewinder. It does not affect performance though – actually most tape originally starts off in jumbo roll format like 1000 meters and then goes on to a slitter/rewinder at the manufacturer plant like 3M to make the cut rolls (like ½ inches x 36 yards). I need to secure a Garmin mount to the dashboard of my car. Will this work? Any suggestions.

It will hold it very securely. If you ever find you need to remove it, be careful and patient in the removal or you could mess up your dash finish. Since it is two sides tape, I would buy velcro to place on the Garmin and the other part of velcro to the tape on the dash, then you can take your Garmin out of vehicle for security purposes, etc.

How easy is it to remove from tile if necessary?

This is an industrial product so I'm sure the 3M website has instructions for surface prep as well as removal

Quality issues

Seems to be a counterfeit product. Doesn’t stick at all Inspite of being a VHB tape it’s worst than a scotch tape

Absolute waste of money

Total waste of money. Am not sure if this product is genuine. The hook fell off because the adhesive came off within 3 days. The weight it held was not even half a kg. Absolute waste of money.
