Buildablock (An Abrams Block Book): An Illustrated Field Guide

My grandson, who is almost three, lives construction vehicles so he really likes this book. The pages are thick so I am not worried about him tearing it. The pictures are great and the book makes my grandson and me both happy as we read it very often.

We LOVE this book. It is a stand out among many similar themed books on the market. We love that the book is bright, beautiful, tells a story while naming all the different types of vehicles, and that there is a sneaky little pigeon to find on each page. My kids love following along on the pigeon's journey as well. It is a 10/10 book. We recommend it to all of our friends and buy it regularly as birthday gifts for any kids who loves construction vehicles.

My 2YO is obsessed with tractors, trash trucks, basically anything with wheels and he loves to sit and read this book even on his own. There is a pigeon on every page too so he always looks for the bird and will point him out.

I have read the shark book; it was interesting. This book basically lists and illystrates types of "vehicles" used in building, but the narrative has no drama and therefore is uninteresting.A good book needs some action!The same child I got this book for LOVES "THE LITTLE BLUE TRUCK" so it is no an issue of failing to understand the book, but rather that this block book is not interesting.
