I loved seeing how the characters came together (and drove each other apart) while finding their way through the darkness that surrounds both. Will be reading the other stories in the collection.

A person who is disfigured by a fire hides behind her wealth. It is another young woman who with time and patience persuades the beast to confront her anger and lies and that there is someone who could love the beast.

I love a happy ever after ending. The pluses of the book were the beast (Louise) ugly actions before the "transformation" and the moral lessons of the story. The slight minus was the book felt a little rushed towards the end. But I will not dwell on the shoulda- coulda-wouldas. It was a decent read

I really liked how this turned from something like my favorite movie but lesbian version. I couldn't put it down!

I got caught up in the story and just knew it had to turn around to LOVE and there were some interesting twists on information toward the end for the reader too. The way they spoke turned me off...old fashioned in what was to be a modern world...but otherwise a fun love story and a bit nerve-racking until the end!

I did not think that this book would be as good as it turned out to be. I could not put this book down. I loved it so much! A must read for sure.

I could not put this book down, such a beautiful and magical story! A must read! I also learned a lot about love and friendship from this story as well. I am looking forward to reading the authors other novels.

A modern day beauty and the beast fairytale. The beast in this story was indeed cruel and had few redeeming qualities. I don’t know how the beauty fell in love with this character that I couldn’t muster much sympathy for, but that’s the story.

A really excellent story that I thoroughly enjoyed. It had me in tears many times but worked out well in the end. My only criticism was the many typographical errors, a good editor is needed, but I still think it is worth 5 stars.

This book did not ultimately appeal to me so I deleted it.
