(New update....) its been almost 2 solid weeks of using this everyday. At least 20+ times a day. Still no smoke/odor blows thru! Very impressive! Again dry it with fan over night. And your golden. (Older review) I've tried a few different brands. And by far this one out beats the competition by a long shot. Very pleased with this product. Just a tip for the chronic user keep it dry. I use a little fan that blows it dry over night. It will always work. Cheers!

Honestly, at first I ordered this then found out about vaping and how discreet it can be. Decided to buy some vapes and then when this came into the mail, was going to send it back for a refund. Well.. After only a few days of vaping while waiting for this I consumed almost both of my carts which cost me $120 together.. ridiculous! I expected at least 2 weeks.. So while I was loving the discretion vaping brings and the fact its near odorless, it's incredibly costly if I am burning through them that quick! I exhaled some massive rips and there was ZERO smell or smoke. However, you are probably aware, you need to protect the smoke out of your apparatus after you light it. Everything you blow into this thing, so long as you upkeep it properly and change the filters when they're clogged with 100% take all the smell, smoke and odor from your exhales leaving nothing but clean air on the exit. As for the device itself, it's the perfect size for a person with petite to medium sized hands. I think for people with large hands might find it a tad too small but I fall into the medium sized so it feels nice to hold. It has a nice polished matte plastic finish and is silky to hold. It's also very nice to place your lips onto when you exhale, it feels very hygienic, crisp, clean and super silky. I love the feel honestly, they chose the perfect materials in its construction for sure. It's also simple. The box it comes in simple and how you use it simple. I like that! You just take it out the box, blow into it when you need discretion and leave it on your desk. You can throw a paper towel inside the hole to help wick moisture too to get extra life from your filter. And when it comes to changing the filter, you simply unscrew it and it pops out easily. Overall, its a simple no frills device that WORKS at removing odor from whatever you exhale. I love it too, it blends right into an office space and looks almost like either an oil burner for aroma therapy or a satellite speaker for the PC. No one would even think twice if they were passing by. And as I said, my whole thing about vaping was about discretion so I am glad this device not only met but EXCEEDED my expectations. Other brands out there like Smoke Buddy's are painfully obvious as to what they do and worse, they don't work good and end up being in the garbage after a week. Buy Spoofy! You won't regret it. If you want discretion, look no further. For a little over $20 you get piece of mind for an absurd amount of exhales and the filters are easy to get a hold of and change. Less waste! Less carbon footprint. Love it! :D

Fantastic! Have been trying, smoke removing sprays, incence, air filters, you name it! Nothing else has worked as well as this product, have purchased extra filters and will purchase more of this product!

I really love that the cartridges are biodegradable, it’s a good size for smaller hands, and really does cut the smell of smoke down SO MUCH. This product isn’t a gimmick, it really does trap the smell. However there are some back-draws. The cartridges for each new launch can’t be interchanged with older models so it can be pricey to keep upgrading. I wish the mouthpiece was better. If you’re not perfectly on it, the smoke will escape your cheeks. This is also for outdoor use, in my opinion. We took it outside multiple times and it’s perfect. From a distance it looks like you’re drinking from a cup. When tested inside, the house smelled like smoke from the residual smoke, just not as strong. Cut it more than half. I will be looking into an air purifier, hoping that will take care of any residual scent. This is a great purchase and I’ve already got a subscription set up. It’s moderately well designed, actually works and is simple to use.

I've used the Smoke Buddy Jr for a long time (along with a smokeless ashtray* to catch smoke coming off of the cigarette) to smoke in hotel rooms/my apartment, and it's always worked great, but I switched to the Sploofy because it's reusable, and I love it. I travel a lot and I've never had a hotel keep a security deposit even though I smoke in every room I stay in. I've only had the Sploofy for about 3 weeks, but it seems like like 1 filter will definitely last me longer than a Smoke Buddy Jr. Even if it only lasts the same amount of time, at roughly $10/replacement filter (vs $14-20 for a S.B. Jr.) the Sploofy is less expensive over time. I should mention, by the way, that I only use personal air filters for cigarette smoke. Other types of smoke are harder on the filters of both products from what I've heard. I guess I sort of understand what people are saying about smoke escaping out the sides, but as long as you gently press your lips into the mouth piece you won't have this problem. I was unsure about buying the Sploofy because of some reviews describing this issue, but now I think people are just using it wrong. I imagine the type of smoke going through the device wouldn't matter in terms of this, as well, but again I've only used it with cigarettes. I also haven't changed the filter yet so I don't know how easy that is to do, but it seems pretty self-explanatory. One thing that is annoying is mine makes this horrible loud squeaking/screeching noise when it's being unscrewed (which takes a while). I'm pretty confident, however, that I can use some kind of oil to stop this if it doesn't just go away over time. Overall, if you're on the fence about this, I say go for it! *the smokeless ashtray I use is "Worlds Best Smokeless Ashtray" - $25-30 on eBay I was NOT offered any incentive, discount or reward for writing this review.

This sploof is mediocre at best. Regardless of how you exhale into it, a small amount of smoke will always escape around the inlet side. You cannot form a good seal around it with your lips, largely due to the recessed design that I thought would have been nice, and there is space between the inlet and filter which will ALWAYS escape out the inlet side before being filtered. I wanted to like it because of its size and the replacement filter aspect. I will not purchase another because it only filters maybe 95% of my exhale, and it is critically important for my specific use case that absolutely no visible smoke escapes regardless of how the user interacts with the device.

This works really well. When you exhale into the Sploofy, it filters most of the smoke. A very small amount may come out, but not enough to be noticeable. After a little practice, it is easy to use and does exactly what it is supposed to do. It is a bit too large for jean pockets, but it fits perfectly in a jacket pocket, so portability is not an issue for me. There is a small learning curve at first when exhaling into it, but once you get the hang of it, it works consistently. I also have not noticed any lingering smell, which is a big plus. Overall, I am very satisfied with the performance and would recommend it to anyone looking for something reliable.

I got this because a portable extractor fan thing that claimed to remove smells and smoke was pretty awful. I tried this and it really works, normally I can smell immediately when I come back into a room if there's been any vaporization done with herbal flower and there is nothing with this. I have a medical prescription that requires me to use a vaporization device which works. But the problem is, the aroma in the room travels upstairs and is not nice for other people to deal with. This device has solved all problems, it really does work for removing the smell completely. I'm really pleased because it means I don't have to try and stand up at an open door to have my medicine. You can see on the video how it works for masking any smoke/steam from a vaporization device. I pinch my nose while I'm blowing through it because you can hear from the video that I have a bit of trouble breathing and pinching my nose means nothing comes out when I blow slowly through the device It's a really good price too so I can change the filter very cheaply or even buy a new device for much cheaper than any portable extractor I originally got it to use it when I can't stand very well but I have taken to using it whenever I have my medicine, it's so much easier for me and there is no smell to worry about I'm pleased with my purchase

So far I have been very impressed with how well it has dealt with both vapour and smoke leaving no visible trace or smell. The one caveat is that to get the proper effects you need to ensure you have made a good seal with your mouth to avoid some smoke/vapour escaping from the side, as long as you take a moment before exhaling and don’t try to empty your lungs too sharply it works wonderfully and is very easy to use. I will definitely continue using it and buying replacement filters for the future.

Works fantastic for vaping! Which it should since vapor is much denser than smoke. And while normal vaping is still unproven by Health Canada to cause any known lung injury (not cases where home-made vape juice was used), it is in fact quite toxic to cats. Can cause a number of side effects in cats, included respiratory distress. Now my one kitty has developed asthma and while it may or may not be caused by vaping, I see no need to expose my cats to the 2nd hand vapor and nicotine. And with this Sploofy, I won't anymore! And it's good for my house too as the vapor sticks to walls so this is extra value
