Angel Dear - Brown Giraffe, Blankie

My first daughter took to an Angel Dear lion blanket lovey at eight months old and at 4 years old is still quite attached to her "Ceesa." This lovey has taken some serious abuse and weathers it well. I have five lion Ceesas (we temporarily lost a few and didn't want to risk being without) now, and my older daughter still strokes her "Ceesa tag" to fall asleep or when she needs comforting. My younger daughter took to a pink lamb (picked out by the older daughter) and gives that poor "lambie Ceesa" a whole new brand of abuse, and that pink Ceesa comes out looking great after each washing. They are the perfect size for little hands, are super soft and cuddly, and, best of all, easy to replace and inexpensive enough to have several in rotation. Update: My daughters are now 5.5 and 3, and they still love their Ceesas. My three-year-old is particularly tough on her Ceesas, often chewing the tag or putting as much of the Ceesa in her mouth as she can, and while I think one of her tags has shredded a little, they still come out of the wash almost new. The Ceesas that have been in rotation for nearly five years are barely worse for the wear- a little dingy, but you'd barely notice without directly comparing it to a new one. This is a perfect shower gift, but I'd recommend getting more than one.

I received "Snuggle Lamb" 3.5 years ago at my baby shower. When my daughter was born, I held the lamb between the two of us while feeding her. The lamb would stay with her in the car, in her crib, and as she had tummy time. My daughter is now 3.5 and uses Snuggle Lamb as her comfort item. When she falls, is sad, needs to sleep, anything... it's always Snuggle Lamb she wants. It's so sweet to watch her sleep while holding her lamb. Even as she sleeps she's holding snuggle lamb and rubbing him between two of her fingers. I had to buy two back ups for those times when she'd forget it at the grandparent's house. Snuggle Lamb has stayed soft, smelling good, and clean through multiple years of washing. Believe me, he's been pretty grubby, but cleans well. This is now our favorite shower gift to give. We bought snuggle monkey and giraffe for our twin cousins. We're hoping the snuggles bring them as much comfort as hey have us.

Worthy of every single star! I got this for my daughter on her first birthday. Before then I had been paranoid about any type of blanket or toy being in her crib. This lovey was a perfect choice! We chose the giraffe since that's my spouses favorite animal. The blanket is soft and an appropriate size for littles. It's held up great through hundreds of washes over the past two years. My daughter STILL loves it and calls it her "baby giraffe." Now that we've welcomed another baby into our family, we made sure to get a new one. Also, if you're searching for a baby gift you can't go wrong with this!

After trying out about 5 different spares for the one blankie my daughter loved, I finally decided to purchase the Pair and a Spare pack from Angel Dear hoping she would like these blankies. She LOVES them! They are super soft and so cute :) I actually ended up buying a fourth because I wanted an additional pattern for her. They are well worth the money and I highly recommend just buying the three pack. We keep one in the car and one in her crib and then we have the spares for laundry day (because she won't sleep without it). I will be buying one for any friends who will be having babies because I just love these blankies!

I don't know what it is, but every baby I know who has one of these adopts this as their go to security object. My 13 month old son loves this blanket. If there were only room for three of us in the life raft, I think I'd be waving to my wife and son and this damn blanket from the sinking ship. I'd be tempted to try to enumerate all the great things about this, but frankly, I have no idea why babies love these. It's soft, but I'm guessing there's more to it than that, and we'll just have to wait until somebody makes one of those speaking gadgets for babies that they had for the dogs in "Up" before we'll really know what the deal is. But I can say this: for the love of God get at least three. You'll need some in reserve, because eventually one will get barfed on or lost and you'll be really glad when your child's security object needs are still able to be met with nothing more than a quick little switcheroo. You may need to rotate in the second and third string blankies for a while to get them all smelling like you. That way, when the need truly strikes, the blankie you call in from the bullpen will not smell like the factory. My kid doesn't seem to care, but I've heard that some babies are not so easily fooled.

I recommend this angel dear giraffe to every parent looking for a soothing blanket. My son has not let go of it for 3 years. He lost it, and I was over the moon to find it on Amazon. It arrived well before estimated date and my son is thrilled. Truly, no other compares. We tried several, could not replace. It's the softest, cutest, has perfect corners to hold and sooth. I bought the giraffe blankie for my daughter before she was born and she cannot live without it. I had to buy 4 more so we could have spare ones since she brings it everywhere. This giraffe has seen the backyard, the dog's food bowl and warer bowl, the pool and so many more places. My daughter will not sleep without it and will not leave home without it. Best blankie ever.
