Provides an awesome glimpse into some wonderful cities and inspires the desire to travel!!!
Super fun and beautifully presented! Love love love this amazing educational addition to our library. Kids are in love too. We strive to expose our children to different cultures and this book inspires us to travel! It's presented in such an appealing manner with gorgeous illustrations and little blurbs that highlight aspects of the city. It adds a little humor that had us chuckling as we read through it. We love to read books before bed and it's a book you would read 1-2 pages a night so you can enjoy looking at the pictures and talking about the different cultural highlights.

Great resource for kids if you're going to be touring any of these cities
Take a tour of some of the world's favorite cities to visit, and learn about fun things to do in each one. This is technically an atlas, although it focuses on letting kids know fun things to do in each of the 30 cities highlighted. The map is loosely drawn of the city, and the focus is more on the sites. There's a short paragraph describing the city, three facts, and also a hidden picture challenge in the text box for each spread. Definitely a great resource if you happen to be visiting one of these cities in the future. It could help with planning what to do.

Big and Beautiful!
Ever wanted to travel the world from the comfort of your living room? Even wanted to introduce a little culture and “world awareness” to you child throughout the convenience of a book? Ever just wanted to enjoy a beautiful oversized map book simply because its gorgeous? Yes? Me too! This map book hits the mark with all those things. The illustrations are gorgeous and filled with details that you can get lost in. Its like taking a mini vacation. This atlas covers 30 large cities from all over the globe and packs in different sites to see as well as other different pieces of culture in each spread on that city. It has completely won us over, I mean, whats not to love?! *I was given this book in exchange for an honest opinion, which this is.

Cute book but I thought it would be of a road atlas.

Great for pre-schoolers and beyond
Wonderful travel-inspiring, culturally rich book. My 4 year old loves spotting various objects hidden in the city illustrations. We “travel” to one or 2 cities each night before bed. Fun to talk about interesting buildings, people, animals, foods and one day visiting in real life. A great entry to global citizenship.

Skip this one
Too wordy for young kids and too simple for older children

Great book! We look forward to reading it to ...
Arrived quickly. Great book! We look forward to reading it to our daughter when she's old enough to comprehend. I saw this at a little boutique shop in Toronto originally, but way less expensive on Amazon.
