J&DDVI to HDMI Adapter (2 Pack), Gold Plated DVI (DVI D) Male to HDMI Female Converter Adapter, Bi Directional Support 3D 4K ARC Ethernet

Connected this adapter to test a system that had a DVI-D and a DP on an ancient display card I had (an AMD Radeon 7450), expecting to connect a 3½mm M-M cable to my receiver. I almost pooped myself when one of those annoying Windows notifications came blaring out of the speakers after a reboot! Works like a champ. Made decently, as good as adapters I've used on others for triple the price.

I bought a cheaper refurbed PC to upgrade, it had HDMI port, but the monitor I have doesn't, so needed a connector. These were cheaper for 4 than some are for one. Connects HDMI cable fine. I actually ended up buying a short (0.5) HDMI, just to tidy the cables up. Still using the same connector, no issues, fits well and can be a bit fiddly to tighten, depending on port placement, but easy enough. Does what it needs to, irritating that multi-buys often work out cheaper than one I need at the time. 1 or 2 at a reduced price would be better for me, personally, but I've got tried and both work so far.

Does what you would expect, converts DVI-D to HDMI. A nice surprise is that sound output also works, although that is probably dependent on your graphics card supporting that.

Does exactly what I needed it for, and at a reasonable price. Adapter feels good quality, and as I only needed one, I have a spare should something happen to the first.

Ho riscontrato un potenziale problema che non credo dipenda dall’adattatore in se ma in quanto perfettamente funzionante ma, probabilmente, da una perdita di segnale. Infatti, inserendo uno dei due adattatori nella porta DVI-D femmina del monitor ed il secondo nella porta DVI-D femmina del mio pc fisso entrambi HP e collegandoli attraverso il cavo HDMI maschio, sullo schermo le immagini si presentano sgranate, prive di qualsiasi definizione e con due colori dominanti (il rosso ed il blu). Questa situazione potrebbe immediatamente far pensare che i due adattatori siano rotti ma in effetti, se utilizzati singolarmente funzionano perfettamente. Infatti, inserendo, ad esempio, l’adattatore DVI-D maschio nella porta DVI-D femmina del mio monitor ed a sua volta inserendo il cavo HDMI maschio nella porta HDMI femmina dello stesso adattatore ed, infine, lo spinotto HDMI direttamente nella porta HDMI femmina del pc fisso desktop o di un replicatore di porte l’immagine si presenta normalmente come dovrebbe essere. Quindi, utilizzando entrambi gli adattatori per collegare il monitor al pc fisso desktop tramite il cavo HDMI e le porte DVI-D femmina rispettivamente dello schermo e del computer, come detto prima, l’immagine appare sgranata, priva di qualsiasi definizione e con due colori dominanti (il rosso ed il blu). Da ciò si deduce che l’utilizzo di entrambi gli adattatori contemporaneamente, quanto meno nei miei computer, provocherebbe perdita di segnale. A dimostrazione di tutto se si utilizza un cavo completo DVI-D maschio per collegare il monitor al mio pc fisso desktop tramite le rispettive porte DVI-D l’immagine si presenta apparentemente con una qualità video superiore rispetto all’immagine che compare con l’adattatore in oggetto (DVI-D\HDMI femmina) utilizzato singolarmente. Del resto chiedere il reso non mi sembra proprio il caso non solo per il basso costo dei due adattori (€ 5,40) ma anche perché, in ogni caso, questi adattatori mi serviranno proprio in quanto usati singolarmente per tutti monitor muniti di porte DVI-D femmina.

Using these for a 2k IPS monitor (running at 1080p) that only has DVI-D input to replace the cable (DVI-D to HDMI) that I have which is too short for my application.Unfortunately neither of these work. Both of them show visual errors such that it is very difficult to even see what is going on. Tried many different quality HDMI cables of varying lengths that have been tested to work and no effect to the visual anomolies.It seems that these adapters cannot handle DVI-D video at all. It's possible there's something unique to this monitor but I would suggest looking elsewhere for a better quality adapter or cable.
