The manufacturer claims it is a multi-tool, but here is the reality check regarding functionality. You need to let the magnet do the work; just place it on the fridge surface and it snaps into place with surprising sturdiness, doubling as a note holder. When opening a bottle, the leverage is fantastic and requires very little force, but if you are a bottle cap collector, you need to be careful with the pressure. A minor downside is that the mechanism bites down hard and leaves a small indent in the center of the cap, so it might not be perfect if you are saving pristine caps for art projects.
