I used this fuel cut off valve as a secondary valve on my 1958 MF 50 tractor. These old tractor have a float bowl assembly with a screw in cut off valve that are prone to leak with age. These old tractors have gravity feed fuel so it is important to turn off the fuel supply after use to keep from flooding the carburetor. I put this quick shit off valve In line after the float bowl assembly as a back up fuel cut off and a quicker way to cut off the fuel (many people with old tractors do this. After testing, this fuel cut off valve worked flawlessly, doesn’t leak, looks good, and is more heavy duty than the plastic type. The handle moves smoothly and I am pleased with the results.

I needed a way to replace the fuel filter on my Craftsman Lawn Tractor without having to drain the fuel tank. I also needed a fuel shut off valve. This valve, hose, & clamps gave me a way to incorporate both needs and best of all it was an economical way to achieve it.
