I am from Toledo. I moved away after college in the 60's and came back in 1996. Now my daughter will be moving from San Francisco to Toledo. I read the article in the Blade about this book and thought that I would purchase it for her. LOVED THE BOOK! So many of my favorites and a fabulous introduction to her new city! Thank you!

This book would be a great gift to include in bridal goodie bags for out of town guests as well a purchase for those of us that live in Northwest Ohio. My son was visiting and we made a trip to Retro Candy on Phillips Ave. it brought back childhood memories, long forgotten.

Do not look down at Toledo, Ohio. It really has a lot to offer. So, if you happen to find yourself in the area, or even if you live here, get a copy of this fascination book and follow its recommendations.

Great overview of what to find in Toledo

If you are looking for something fun to do on the weekend or want to find new places to eat, etc., I would recommend that you purchase this book.I was born and raised in Toledo and did not realize how many fun things there were to see and do in Toledo. The best part is that Tedd provides the history behind how these places became popular. It is just perfect and I will be purchasing other books by this Author!
