Healthiest Meals on Earth: The Surprising, Unbiased Truth About What Meals to Eat and Why

not as inspiring as I had hoped
I like the concept but I don't think I have cooked one dish or really gained any more insight than I had.I am good at following plans and big into health - I am not on any special diet except everything in moderation and definitely full fat (again in moderation)- I have my own template of healthy habits to address high cholesterol (no pill for me thanks) and I am healthy weight. Hence I thought this book would be more insightful and something new I could incorporate but it has not been.

I found "The Healthiest Meals on Earth" a really addictive read!

Another great book from Jonny Bowden
Although I have not made many of the recipes from this book (I have a lot of low-carb recipe books already) it is still a fascinating and thought provoking book. I have never seen the 'polymeal' concept mentioned in other low carb recipe books, it shows how well Jonny Bowden 'thinks outside the box'. He has an easy-going writing style which always makes his books a pleasure to read.Highly recommended!

Like having your own nutritionist!
This book is great! He gives you recipes for entire meals (not just a main dish) so I'm not left wondering what to pair it with. I'd happily entertain using recipes from this book. What I really love, though, is that he explains exactly what is so great about the food in a very approachable way while still going into details and specifics. It's like having your own nutritionist on hand.Only down side: I do wish there were more recipes for breakfast and lunch. Everything in here is more geared toward dinner.
