not my favorite
I was a little put off by the fact that Abby was trying so hard to prove the brothers had done it because she generally tries to not jump to conclusions. She follows her gut to not believe someone is guilty but generally does not go out of her way to accuse.I also didn't like the fact that she didn't get such an obvious clue. The humour was a little darker but I enjoyed that. I feel it makes Abby seem a little more human, but perhaps others did not get it.I love the series and highly recommend this book but definitely don't start with this one.

A rose from the dead
I found this book hard to get into; unlike the others. Maybe it was because the scene was not at the flower shop and it was at the funeral convention? I found it hard to believe that someone can solve a mystery and own her own flower shop and work so little. Call me a pessimist, but I'd only rate this book a 3 out of 5. I have read all the others and this book lacked the humor that the others had. I did not feel a sense of cozy comfort with the flower shop, coffee drinks and usual comodore. I started reading this book, stopped and read a different book and then came back and finished this one. Still a good read, just not as likeable as the rest, slightly disappointing.

Not Quite Up-to-Par Abby
I enjoyed this book as I did the others. Abby is a fun, quirky heroine. Marco is not my type, but he's just what she wants. I have two problems with this book. First of all, she is DETERMINED to prove that one or both of the Urban twins is guilty without any evidence except that they trapped her in a coffin. Secondly, a very obvious clue is staring her in the face and she doesn't get it. Her quick thinking to get into Sybil's room notwithstanding, I just don't think she was as much on top of her form as usual. I saw the ending coming. She should have, too.

Easy Read
I’m a sucker for mystery novels and this series is no exception. It’s the Nancy Drew for adults.

A Rose from the Dead
One of the better authors of Lite Murder Mysteries. The charachters are believable. The story keeps moving along. Everyone pulls together. Some minor characters played a more major part in solving the murder.

Great Story
The Flower Shop Mysteries are a wonderful group of mysteries. The characters are very diverse and their relationships develop as you go through the books. The culprit is always a surprise, too. You don't need to start with the first book to keep up, but I would not miss a word of any of them!

Love this series
This series is great - the story flows easily from one book to another. The characters are fun and are people I would like if I met them in real life. Each story flows nicely and I love the way the mystery infolds.
