Will these placemats slip easily on a wooden table?

They are textured so they stay in place no problem. Absolutely love these on my new table

Would these be suitable for a garden table please (glass topped, not wooden)

This is exactly how I use them; on our glass garden table. They are perhaps a bit bigger than I would have liked ( when we have six people sitting around the table they overlap) but serve their purpose well and I love the colour.

Has anyone tried cleaning in their washing machine? They don't wipe or scrub clean as per description.

I, just this week had to sit with a sewing needle and poke through the holes to get wax off one of the place mats. I personally wouldn't put them in my washer. All the other times they've come clean by wiping them with a cloth.
