But it had such shallow of a bite that it just slipped. I took my car to Costco and two different VW dealerships and none of them could use this to remove my wheels. Costco does not carry wheel lock keys and the first VW dealership "lost theirs. The second one had it but tried this first with no luck and were visibly/verbally frustrated. I actually tried it myself before taking it to the second dealership using a hand impact driver set. If you are not familiar with what that is, you hold a tool against the nut with the proper sized socket and slam it with a sledge hammer. It forces the tool into the socket (in this case the "key") but that also did not work with this. Its a complete piece of trash. Do not purchase it, go to a VW dealer who actually has the "key" you need and have them remove your locks for free. Then either buy new locks with the correct key or do as I did and replace them with regular lug bolts. I could not imagine being stranded on the side of the road using one of these pieces of **** trying to change my tire. Well, I could.
