Working well to freshen air
This does exactly what I wanted it for. I was mostly worried about a stale background odor building up in our apartment when the windows are can’t be opened due to pollen, construction, hot weather and humidity. Strategically placed this unit keeps a bedroom and the entrance hallway smelling fresh. It is also very quiet. The Gideon does require either sacrifice of an electrical outlet or getting an outlet extender. But I bought another brand of ionizer for another room, a very small tabletop unit; it seems to be working OK too, but it makes more noise, a constant background buzz.

For small spaces
Returned 1st one for fan not working. 2nd one also barely has a fan. I love this idea. It does light and I do smell the clean scent when I get close to it. I just wish it was stronger. Will keep and hopefully a stronger plug in will come along.

Good but could have been excellent.
Would give it a solid 5 stars except for one issue. Plug in is WAY TOO HIGH up on the back. Should be right at the bottom so it takes up both slots on a standard duplex outlet.

Great for small spaces. Odor eliminator
Small plug in air purifier. Made very well. Works excellent. I have several different sizes in my home and RV because I have two dogs. Never smell any pets. Air is fresh and circulated. great for odor elimination. Very low noise. This one is great for small spaces. Worth the price.

won't last long
the fan was really weak, then the whole unit (UV light + fan) completely stop working after a just a month....

Hype than reality
Not a noticeable difference thatI can detect. No dust reduction that I see when dusting with a flashlight looks like the same build up as normal. I bought 4 of these for a 950 square foot area these should've shown results as description by far easy this many in a small space. I think its just a cool looking piece of junk. Gonna return been a couple weeks to prove function and nada.
