This is a fantastic tool! I had some doubts when I purchased it, as it was cheaper than others I found online. However, it has saved me so much time with my sockets and general screwing tasks. The tool itself packs quite a punch, and there have been times when I've had to grip it tightly, but it performs perfectly. The battery is impressive as well. I've been using it for about a week of work, and it still holds plenty of power without needing a recharge. It also comes in a smart, sturdy case with all the magnetic attachments you'll need for just about any job. Additionally, it includes some screw ends that make it easy to create pilot holes. I’ve been so confident in this tool that I even took it with me to a friend’s house to put up a hanging light—and it got the job done without a hitch. Highly recommended!

It's early days but I have used this screwdriver to put up 9 battens on a brick wall and secure 6 sheets of plasterboard to those battens. I did recharge the battery but it didn't need it. When it can't manage to get the screw to move any more it just stops rather than strain the motor so you select a higher torque setting. There are three and they are useful. It's not too fast and comes with a whole bunch of its which I had my doubts about but actually they seem to be OK. I like the fact that you have one button for in and another for out. No faffing about with those push pull things where you can never remember which is in. I did wonder if I'd regret not getting a pistol style driver but then I thought how do I usually use a screwdriver, not like a pistol. It fits in the hand OK and is comfortable. Seems rugged enough as I ahem dropped it a couple of times. Only negative is that the buttons for in & out are very sensitive and oddly hard to find as they are black like much of the body. Day glow yellow would have been better. I hope it lasts!

good tool, does the job well, pleased with it overall

I found this to be most ideal for light work around the house. It does exceptionally well and does act like a big screwdriver however the difference is it's smaller than normal ones! It's easy to attach certain parts and is simple when charging. The battery life however was probably a bit of a drawback. It can last you a good hour until it dies so ive had to charge it several times. Good thing about this is that it is simple to use and it also comes with a small flashlight built in so it makes it much easier to locate spots for screwing or drilling. Again, it is most intended for light use as I would opt for this if I was doing heavy construction in the house!

Why did you choose this product over others?: I bought two of these and both failed, which is extremely disappointing. I only used them occasionally - certainly not under heavy or continuous load, yet the motors burned out just from screwing brackets onto the back of a few monitors. That's hardly demanding work. At first, the build feels solid and gives a false sense of quality. But once you get past that initial impression, it becomes clear: this product is not built to last, even for light, intermittent use. Do not buy if you're expecting durability or reliability. This is a case of style over substance, a product that looks good but can’t perform when it counts.

My friend saw her boyfriend kissing another email on their doorbell camera and moved out that day with not a stick of furniture to her name. I used this little device to build all the flat pack furniture in her new place. It was a god send - we managed to do everything in one weekend, and it would have taken three or four times longer without this. (The ex-boyfriend gets a -5 rating)

This set comes in a handy storage box (which I promptly discarded, as I prefer to keep my tools all together in a roll-up canvas bag), but would be useful if you wanted to find it easier to pick the correct bit a little quicker. The bits and their holder are all magnetic, which is really handy when you're dealing with removing/fitting smaller screws which can drop and disappear forever (until you stand on it in your bare feet). Very easy and quick to charge using the USB cable provided. Plenty strong enough for my needs (mainly furniture assembly and the odd DIY job around the home). Lightweight and easy to use. A great addition to my toolkit at a great price.
