I'm an old codger, trying to join the 21st century. I'm forever forgetting and dropping stuff. So I just hang this case around my neck. The touchscreen and all the buttons on the phone are accessible—and usable—without opening the case. And I can view/hear videos and phone conversations without removing the phone from the case. The black, padded back of the case affords protection as does the resealable plastic-&-rubber top. I'm not planning on taking a shower with this case around my neck, but, if I did, I believe the phone would survive just fine. But you will have to open the case to charge your phone. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Floats and you won't miss an opportunity to take a pic because your hands are wet and/or sandy! *by K***S on May 23, 2016* This just survived a week at the beach with my 1 year old! He didn't use it, but when he's near, and sand and water are near.... yeah - we needed this case! It floats AND you can take pics through the clear strip at the top. I took quite a few pictures with my camera in it. It was great to be able to just grab the phone with sandy or wet hands and capture a quick moment with my family!
