ShurtapeP-665 General Purpose Gaffers Tape (Permacel): 5.1cm . x 55 yds. (White)

I put a strip of this on the rubbery part of my keds champions and went to dance class. It worked perfectly! The tape stayed on and did not roll for the whole hour, however, I failed to take it off immediately and wore the shoes next day to work. The tape on one shoe started to roll and pick up stuff. Both shoes picked up hair and stuff around the edges of the tape. I'd say taping the bottom of the shoe works for one swing dance session, which is great, because then you can wear any shoes! It may work for two sessions if you don't wear the shoes too much on the street in between.

Decent Product - None of the current crop of Gaffer's tape seems to be as good as the days I worked in TV (30 years ago).You can't judge the overall quality until you've left it in place for a while to see if it leaves residue.

I use this tape to put on the soles of shoes to ballroom dance. Turns all shoes into dance shoes, to slide !!! Going to use on my Zumba shoes too.

This is the 665 you've known and used. Still great, even if crazy expensive. Much better than the "Pro Gaff Matte Cloth Gaffer's Tape with Rubber Adhesive, 11 mil" I used, which was thinner and less sticky than this tape.

Perfect for fastening on the bottom of training shoes to allow enough slip so I can safely do aerobic dance on faux wood floors. Worth every penny.
