ProBond Forged TITUM - Professional Clad Stainless Steel, Nonstick, Frying Pan, (8.5-Inch), Induction Compatible, Made without PFOAs

I've purchased many Hestan pieces of cookware from the ProBond and NanoBond collections, and so far, I'm very happy with them. Then again, for the price, it would be criminal to deliver a subpar product. Regarding this piece specifically, I use it on an induction cook top, and while the area around the coil is definitely hotter than the rest of the skillet, there's really nothing to be done about it, and it hasn't caused any problems. The skillet does scream a little when you first turn on the induction cook top, or any time you adjust the temperature up significantly, but only for a short time. All of the Hestan pieces do this. Cooking with it is a pleasure, and the non-stick surface really delivers. A drop or two of oil and eggs will just slide around on it. Cleaning is mostly achieved by spraying it off in the sink once it's cooled down. I'll scrub it lightly with a soapy soft nylon brush and any stubborn food residue comes right off. The only exception to this is the material covering the grommets holding the handle to the skillet base. Those are not remotely non-stick and require more vigorous scrubbing with the aforementioned nylon brush to get clean. I'll probably start spraying just those with non-stick spray in the future in hopes to reduce the effort required to clean them. I use one of the lids from a pot in the ProBond collection when needed with this skillet and it fits perfectly. Just something to consider if you have their other products handy. This review is for the large non-stick skillet, but everything in it holds true for the two smaller sizes as well. I have all three, and even at their price, have no regrets.

Best frying pan. This is the second one of this particular that I have owned. First was a gift and this was a replacement I purchased when first seal did crack a bit. But I don’t care bc I use it DAILY. Def got moneys worth. Hand wash. I also own larger pan. Use both so much. Great items.

Love this Hesten frying pan. Cooks well, easy to wash and clean.

This pan was on sale for $110, but I was sent the 8.5" pan. The only recourse is to get a refund from Amazon, because they won't send me the correct size. I contacted the Hestan company and they said that my only path is through Amazon. My wife said to keep it and she will use it. She used it this morning for the first time for her usual egg-spinach scramble and it was barely large enough to hold the food, and the bottom and sides were coated with stuck on food. She wants to keep using it because she feels safer using this pan than the cheap Chinese Carote pans. I only use cast iron and carbon steel pans, but she needs pans that she can't ruin when I turn my back. Yes, I know that stainless steel pans are non-stick when used with proper heat control and amount of oil, but that's just not her. At least with this pan the food comes off easily when washed. If the 11" or larger pan goes on sale I'll buy it then. It gets 1 star because I'm so incredibly annoyed at receiving the smaller pan.

This brand easily heat stains on the bottom if cooked higher than medium. The stains are permanent. I have a convection cooktop. I've never seen this before and have used much less expensive non-stick cookware as well as expensive cookware on it. Note: barkeeper's friend did not remove the exterior bottom stains. Not sure you ever will remove the exterior bottom burn stains with any product, if that matters to you. I'm one of the people who like to keep my pans pristine. As I said, just make sure to never heat your pan past medium if you want it to remain pristine. If not, it seems to hold up well inside the pan.

Pan arrived in good order. I used it next day and am very impressed with the quality and even heat distribution. Many high end pans that I’ve used before claim even heat distribution but didn’t perform as promised. Great product. I would order again.

Bought this for friend considering buying the Hexclad set. Urged him to try this pan first to see if he liked it better. He loves it. Uses it for egg whites with very little cooking spray. Says the food slides without effort. Make sure you read how to use these pans properly. Definitely not that same way you heat stainless.

THE BEST PAN EVER FOR COOKING ON A MODERN INDUCTION RANGE. BACON AND EGGS-NO MUSS, NO FUSS. WIPE PAN CLEAN WITH PAPER TOWELL AND YOU ARE READY TO GO AGAIN. SOMETIMES YOU DO NEED TO RINSE WITH HOT WATER AND REPEAT. IT’S LIGHT WEIGHT IN THIS SIZE. THE NON-TOXIC, NON-STICK COATING WORKS BETTER THAN ANYTHING ELSE I’VE EVER SEEN, USED, OR HEARD OF. EASE OF USE IS UNSURPASSED. ONE DOWNSIDE, IT’S PRICEY, TO THE POINT THAT YOU NEED TO THINK TWICE ABOUT BUYING AN ENTIRE SET. BUT ONCE YOU START TO THINK ABOUT IT, YOU PROBABLY WILL FIND IT’ GETS HARDER TO USE ALL OTHER BRANDS.

No se pega nada, muy buen sartén. Yo lo compré especialmente para los huevos cocinados de cualquier forma y funciona muy bien!

On the plus side: Good non-stick, easy clean. On the negative side: A little bit on the heavy side, the handle gets hot, and the pan is pricey.

I received the pans in used condition!! There was food stuck inside the pan and burnt bottoms. For the price that you pay for these pans, it is unacceptable to receive a package in this condition! Clearly these pans are not worth the price considering that someone used them and returned them as they did not hold up.

Not even two months into using this pan. The coating around the handles rivets. Is flaking and falling off. Expected better quality . For how expensive these are. Throwing it in the garbage.
