Aftermarket Samsung Washer Tub Bearing & Seal Kit DC62-00156A 6601-002637 6601-000148 Replacement for WF42H5200 WF393 WF395 WF24H DC97-17004A DC97-17004B Washer Machine Parts

Since the Samsung part was so expensive, I decided to try these. I was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews saying they don’t last. This is quite an involved job that requires disassembling the entire machine and I don’t want to have to do it a second time. I assumed, being a cheap part, they probably fail due to lack of or improper lubrication. So prior to install, I used a small pick tool to remove the seal on the bearings which showed that I was correct. These had very little grease that resembled petroleum jelly. So I packed them with some quality grease, reinstalled the seals and installed them into the machine. So far the machine is whisper quiet and no leaks. It’s been about 4 months and we run probably 6-8 loads a week.

OEM bearings from 2016 Model Samsung Front Loader lasted 7 years. Ordered the bearing kit from Amazon Prime for approx. $28 with tax. Installed Jan 16, 2023 and bearing failed by Feb 5, 2023 (<3 weeks). Returned to Amazon w/out issue. The bearing failure consisted of loud whining and squealing noise at the 3 week mark. Problem is, as you know, this is a time consuming process to remove and install due to literally have to take apart the front loader. I would strongly advise two things; buy quality OEM bearings or similar and replace your shocks while you have the machine apart.

These worked perfectly to repair my 13 year old Samsung dryer... It's a BIG job to get to them... Hell I had to build a 2x4 hoist to help me lift the tub out of the washer...took 2 days to complete, I recommend replacing the washer shocks while in there... But this bearing works flawlessly and now I'll get another 10years out of my washer easily!!

My washer was making a terrible noise, not shaking. Just loud. This fixed the problem.

Product lasted a few weeks before failing and being louder than the bearing replaced. Don't waste your money or time. Not an easy task to install but I did everything exactly right, being very meticulous in the installation

Replaced the bearings on my Samsung machine myself, it was making a very loud noise. I followed instructions from YouTube. These were a perfect fit (a bearing is a bearing). I put them in the freezer overnight to allow them to slide in a little better. The replacement itself wasn’t too time consuming however the overall job did take several hours. Purchased all my parts from Amazon, they all fit. The washer now runs as if it were new and completely silent. Saved myself hundreds by doing it myself.

Saved me $$'s in not having to either buy a new machine or get it repaired. If you have the know-how and some basic tools you can do it. Countless YouTube videos to watch as all machines are basically the same. I siliconed the rubber seal to make sure it lasts that little bit longer.

***Update: 8 months later, the bearing needs to be replaced again. Not sure if I just got a weak bearing, but I'll be ordering a more expensive bearing and hopefully that one will last. I decided to re-order the same ones. Hopefully the first ones I got were just a bad batch. I'll update once I've used them for a while. **** My front load washer was making enough noise to wake the whole house. The vibration was bad enough for the washer to break appart. Watched a YouTube video and in 4 hours had the bearings swapped out. It was easier than it looked. Local repair shops said that if I was to pay them to do it, it would be cheaper to buy a new washer. These bearings are totally worth it. If you have time and limited tools, you can fix it yourself. Highly recommend this product.

Bought in April and lasted 8 months. Parts fit well. Original bearings lasted 10 years. But it may be leaking is causing bearing failure. Will buy different bearings and try again.
