does this cute squirrel bowl come in it's own box to gift wrap or just bubble wrap?

It's been so long since I purchased this cute little guy. I am pretty sure it came in a box. I love this piece. I have used it for almost every holiday, putting candy in it. The rest of the time we change out different nuts.

Is it large enough to hold unshelled pecans/walnuts?

It is a small bowl and will hold shelled peanuts nicely. It probably would not hold very many unshelled pecans/walnuts.

AGGIORNAMENTO 16.07.2017: La ditta mi ha contattata spontaneamente per verificare il difetto e per offrirmi una nuova ciotola in sostituzione di quella fallata. Ringrazio di cuore la ditta, che ha mostrato una serietà decisamente non comune. 03.07.2017: Molto grazioso, ma la ceramica risulta "fallata" in un punto. Nonostante questo, ho deciso di tenerlo comunque perché il difetto è in un punto nascosto.
