misleading calling this a book TOTAL shock at it being more of a pamphlett.
Now I know why bookshops don't stock this "book" - it isn't a book. misleading calling this a book TOTAL shock at it being more of a pamphlett. That said hoping reading about the expedition will be riveting- it is a pressy so as long as a good read, tis ok --- but definitely not worth £6!!! if realised was a pamphlet I wouldn't have bought. ho hum!!

This can hardly be called a book; it is a collection of quotes from different sources (newspapers of the time, diaries, etc). It has typos here and there. It looks as if was printed on a printer for home use.Only worth considering as a purchase in electronic format. There are quite a few books on this subject out there.

just the facts
This sick series of books are basically a listing of general facts or specific facts and or for that reason somewhat difficult to read. However this one will be of interest.

Historic enigma cleared
The story of the expedition and it's doom very well portrayed from the historical diaries, documents, skeletons and later investigations. Salute those daring brave souls.

Ok
It’s not a book. It’s a pamphlet. You get what you pay for.

There are a number of fascinating stories about marooned crews and shipwrecks, but few are as enduring or interesting as this one, about British sailors who got stranded in the Arctic. The efforts to find them, and their ultimate fates, are also covered.
