Luigi Bormioli Vinea Corvina/Amarone Stem Glasses (Set of 2), 20.2 oz, Clear

We had the misfortune of breaking one of these. While I have many other quality glasses, I found I had to repurchase these wine glasses as they are my preferred glass due to their shape.

I noticed the very first time I used these glasses that they heighten the bouquet and flavor of a red wine. The shape of the bowl gives the wine the surface area needed for the fragrance to rise. The narrow top seems to funnel it toward the nose and distribute the wine across the tongue and mouth. (I'm saying this without claiming to be a wine aficionado in any manner. I just noticed it.) The crystal is said to be tempered with titanium to give it strength, so I am hopeful that all its delicate beauty will last for some time. It's warranteed for 25 years, but, honestly, does anyone expect their wine glasses to last that long, and will anyone look for the contact information when it breaks in 2040?

Reliable quality. Have had other Luigi Bormeoli crystal wine glasses for over 10 years which look like new today. Would like them to offer some of their older designs again

My husbands aunt who is a wine connoisseur really loved the glasses. I love how the bottom of the glass has the little V in it its very glamorous. Would definitely buy for myself later as well.

Delicate but very classy and worth the money for the beauty!
