I am getting on in years. (I just got Medicare.) My eyes aren't what they used to be. I have problems reading in low light and reading small print. This magnifying glass is great. The magnification is good and increases when you move away from the object. It is made well and has a nice feel and weight. The packaging implies that many don't know how to put the batteries in, but it wasn't any sort of problem to do so. I looked over several of the magnifying glasses and chose this one and I think I made the right choice. The manufacturer clearly cares about the product. It sent me a bunch of emails asking if I was satisfied and offered assistance if I needed it. I've bought a bunch of stuff on Amazon and never had a manufacturer show its desire to please like this one. I have a couple of minor criticisms if the manufacturer is listening: (a) While the LEDs on the item are acceptable and very helpful, personally I would prefer one or two more LED lights with perhaps a larger spread - or to have the two already on it brighter; and (b) I think I'd prefer the glass to be about an inch bigger. I use it primarily for reading the newspaper and, while acceptable, the scope of vision is a little tighter than I'd like. Regardless, I am more than satisfied.

Una ottima soluzione per utilizzare separatamente due ingrandimenti diversi. Il vantaggio delle due lenti di diametro diverso è che consentono di utilizzare al meglio l'ingrandimento 10x, poiché più è alto l'ingrandimento e più piccolo deve essere il diametro della lente. Inoltre se utilizzato con un braccetto da scrivania consente di effettuare lavori di precisione.

Die Auflösung ist sehr gut, die LED's sind schön hell und man kann die "Köpfe" sehr einfach wechseln.

This might seem trivial, but the actual diameter of this magnifying glass is 3 and 7/8th of an inch - not 3.5 inches as the picture shows. The lenses are actually acrylic and are not glass lenses as they state. This is not a bad thing, as I have read glass lenses are generally optically inferior to acrylic lenses. I am please with this magnifier. The 5 x lens is great for reading fine print and the 10 x is what I use when I need to read small-scaled marks on an engineering ruler. It is quick and easy to change lenses by pressing on the side buttons and they just clip in and out. The LEDs are an added bonus when reading in low light conditions or on dark surfaces.
