Cool little figurines

These plastic figures are unique, and scaled perfectly to a game I created. While some complain about the quality of the paint job, I have none. You can do a wash and repaint. I customized each to fit on stands by drilling the feet about 1/16th of an inch deep. While they can stand up on their own, plenty of cheap stands are available for the existing multitude of 3.75" action figures (GI Joe and knockoffs, Star Wars, Indiana Jones...) that make posing for games or dioramas less frustrating. Unlike more expensive, custom, or 3D printed figures, the HAPTIME figures offer a reasonable amount of articulation at a low price point. There's enough variety to keep things interesting, and these are a bit gruesome without being disgusting. One caveat: The same figures are repackaged and sold a dozen different ways at varying prices that don't always add up. Look at what's being offered and compare. Sometimes a single set, bought multiple times, is cheaper than a packaged set with the multiple.

These are pretty good little figures. They are reasonably priced for how nice they are and how many you get. My son is totally into zombies SO SO MUCH, but there really aren't many "zombie toys" out there..... Only other things I've come across are "collectables" and are obviously really expensive OR not to be "played with". These are prefect and you can even interchange heads and other parts. This is my son's 2nd set so he's got a nice little zombie "heard" going!

This year I got into collecting 1/18 scale military figures, and decided I wanted to adding some zombies to the mix. Companies like Joytoy and Boss Fight Studios do offer up some stellar looking zombie figures, but they're not cheap. But I saw these zombie packs popping up on Amazon, and decided to give them a try. Yes, they're cheaper than the other companies I mentioned. For the price, you get 6 different zombie "characters". Appearance wise, they look decent. The paint can be sloppy in places, but since those are zombies, I can give much of it a pass. Articulation is limited; with a waist and head swivel, along with moving arms. Supposedly, they're supposed to be able to be pulled apart, but I haven't tried it. Actually, one of my figures seems to have a joint twisting off. I'm not too bummed, they are really affordable. They don't seem well made though, with a few seems that aren't completely closed. The quality isn't there. In addition, they don't seem that stable when standing (but what zombie is supposed to be?). The legs have no articulation, but the feet on some aren't shaped to both be flat on the ground, as if some warping went on with the original model or these figures after being pulled from the mold? Personally, I'm using these as army builders (I ordered a larger lot of these as well), and over time I plan to fill out the ranks of my "zombie horde" with better quality zombies from the aforementioned companies. Basically, I'll say you get what you paid for. This particular set is priced about right if you want to give your G.I. Joes (or other 1/18th scale figures) zombies to fight. They're better as troop builders. As I mentioned, I also ordered a larger lot of these (4 packs, with this first order, giving me 30 zombies). The only problem is, getting multiples of the same characters.
