100-Count Canning Lids, Wide Mouth Mason Jars Lids for Ball/Kerr Jar, Large Mouth and Split-Type (Only Lids)

Save yourself. Avoid these canning lids. Let me explain.I have been canning produce from my garden for the past 35 years. I use water bath and pressure canning methods. I have canned tomato juice, stewed tomatoes, salsa, French onion soup, fruit cocktail, beans, jams, jellies, applesauce, fruit pie filling, pickles and pickled peppers, and so on. I tell you this so you are aware that I know the canning process and have vast experience.Since I have never used any canning lids other than one of two brand names, I decided to can jars of water with these lids. I prepared the jars, lids, rings, and the water bath canner exactly the same as I would for produce. Instead of produce, I put water in the jars. I prepared the lids, sealed the jars and processed them in the water bath canner for 15 minutes. This is a typical time for water bath canning my salsa and jam recipes.I was SHOCKED to see the condition of the lids after my test canning process. Almost all of the lids were buckled or deformed in some way. I would not trust the hours of work I put into preparing product to have the canning process thwarted because of these lids. I would strongly recommend you avoid these canning lids.

I'll never order these again am just thankful we were only canning a few jars as these lids are warped and not sealed.We are not new to canning, this product was not acceptable

I purchased 24 each of wide mouth lid and screw bands. I have been canning for over 50 years so I have a lot of experience in canning. These are the worst ever. You have to fight to get the screw band on straight. I just took my 4 quarts out of the pressure cooker and all 4 of the flat lids were bulging up out of shape. I look at the box they came in, no wonder, they are made from a foreign country. Cheap labor, no quality. Amazon ought to be ashamed to put such garbage on their website. They should take it off the web page and refund everyone that has bought this product and never do use this manufacture again. Only buy from the United States. The worst, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

Only 3 of 12 sealed the rest dented and will have to be done again

The fact that there has been a shortage of canning goods does not justify the increase in price for these lids. I ordered them because I had no other options to purchase them somewhere else. But I felt I paid way too much. When I used this particular brand, several didn't seal correctly, although the few name-brand ones I had left sealed perfectly

These lids are half as thick as brand-name lids, and the glue was not applied evenly. Gave them a test run this morning, and 6 out of 6 buckled and failed. Shameful waste of time.

Save your money- DO NOT BUY THESE LIDS!!!!! I was doubtful before starting the jam, but these were the only lids I had on hand. Straight out of the box, 2 out of ten lids had incomplete rubber seals, and were immediately discarded. Of the remaining 8 I used, 6 of the jars failed to seal. I had 6 left over Ball lids that I used on the jars of jam- 100% seal on the Ball lids. If I could have left negative stars, I would have.

I actually ended up returning this item. The lids had curved rims and I wasn’t convinced they were safe to use. On the bright side, they did arrive quickly and the return was painless. I’m going to stick to name brands in the future.
