For the year 2025 and 2026 this is the product that's working!
As someone who has done rescue for over 25 years at least this year 25 20 25 and 2026 this is working this is the product that works advantage does not work Frontline does not work this works!!! Totally different ingredients than the other stuff and for whatever reason the chemicals in this product is are working

I had such high hopes.
When I applied the Hartz UltraGuard Duel Action Flea & Tick Treatment & Prevention on May 1st., I was surprised that it didn't have a bad odor and didn't seem oily. I thought maybe it was different than the other flea products that I have tried and that it would actually kill the fleas. After applying it, I kept waiting for the product to start to work, but my dog was still scratching. My dog will even wake me up at night with his scratching. He scratches all day and all night, it seems that the only time he isn't scratching is when he is asleep. After applying the UltraGuard I thought that perhaps it might be working and that my dog just had irritated skin and needed a bath with a soothing shampoo. Well, it wasn't a soothing shampoo that he needed, the amount of fleas that came off of him during the bath was unreal. The bath did slow down the fleas for a minute, but by the next day they were coming back with a vengeance. The Hartz UltraGuard had not worked at all or kill the fleas and definitely didn't prevent new fleas from re-infesting my dog. The Hartz UltraGuard Duel Action Flea & Tick Treatment & Prevention has some really good reviews and I had such high hopes. Now I feel that I have wasted my money again for a product that does not work.
