I originally bought this and still buy it to prevent bone loss from aging. I'd been taking it about 6 months when I fell and I broke my knee cap on the edge of a paving stone. Not fractured, BROKEN into 2 distinct pieces with a clear gap in the X-rays. I have a titanium plate and 9 pins. I was 51 years old. My surgeon said that because of my age, in a few years I MIGHT be able to bend my knee 90 degrees, but would never be able to a lot of things again, ever. I can do every single one of those things, 100%, as though I never broke me knee at all. I took very good care of my knee while I sat in a chair for 6 agonizing weeks. No weight on it, bandaged securely to prevent ANY bending of the knee which would put tension on the patella. I took this, calcium and D3 religiously. After the initial 6 weeks, I was walking without a brace. 6 weeks after that, I could kneel, sit "Indian Style", touch my butt with my knee, you name it, I can do it. I have no stiffness around the joint, ever no matter how cold it gets. This past winter it got down to 9°. I have always healed very quickly from wounds. However, at 52 healing from cuts doesn't happen as fast when I haven't been taking K2-MK7. K2 is supposed to help regenerate bone and tissues. After my surgery I can't help but believe this is a valid claim. If you're on the fence, give it a try. This is inexpensive and you get a lot of it. What do you have to lose? *I'll add the X-rays later to show how bad the brake was.

This is my third bottle of Nutricost K2. I’ve been told to take it for my bones. Don’t know if it’s helping yet, but the pills are small, easily swallowed, and have caused me no problems.
