DuPont Mold & Mildew Stain Remover for Natural Stone

This product worked better than expected. I had some stubborn mildew stains in the stone floor of my shower. I had treated the stains repeated over the past few years with grocery store mildew products like Tile-X. Those products lightened the stains a little, but they were still very noticeable. When I first tried this product, I didn't think it was working better than Tile-X. But I let it sit for most of the day, and eventually it eliminated the deep set mildew stains in the stone. I don't know whether this product has different chemicals in it, or whether it's just thicker and therefore able to stay and work on the stains better. In either case, after one day (and repeated applications), the stains that have resisted me for years are finally gone. The product has a faint bleach smell, so I'm assuming that's the working ingredient. Very easy to use. Just spray, let it set, then rinse. If your stone is sealed, you'll probably have to use a scrubbing product first to remove the sealant layer, then apply this stain remover, then rinse, clean with an everyday stone cleaning product (like Granite Gold Everyday), then reseal.

I have tried multiple products to remove mildew from my travertine shower. This is the first and only product that actually removed it immediately. Follow the instructions to leave the product in place for an extended period before rinsing. Also open a window to allow the smell to escape as it is potent. Worth the wait and smell to problematic issue in the shower. Highly recommended!

Okay, I love this cleaner. It cleans my stone tile way better than anything I have tried. However, almost passed out using it. I’ve cleaned with tons of products and have never had that issue. Maybe I used too much? Definitely have a fan circulating air and open a window!

I have a stone shower in a bathroom that lacks proper ventilation so there is a constant battle with mold. I have tried dozens of products over the years and nothing has worked. I just used this for the first time and it removed the stubborn mold the first pass! I used a nylon brush to scrub the grout and corners so it did involve some elbow grease but I am thrilled how effective this product is. Beware, the smell is strong so open a window and have a fan running. I will certainly be buying more of this!

Ok, I almost never write reviews but this cleaner is a game changer! I thought my travertine tile shower was a lost cause. I tried cleaning it with so many things over the last couple years but mold and mildew came right back. My husband and I were planning to tear the tiles out. But I used this product today and it took care of the mold. I’m embarrassed to post my before pictures. It was so gross. Also shout out to Bar Keepers Friend. I finally got those brown stains out of the shower floor. I’m planning to reseal the tile and re-calk at the bottom. Ugh. What a relief.

I have struggled with mold in my marble shower for years. It is always worse in the summer but now I finally have found something that actually works. I didn’t think the smell was all that bad to be honest considering that other products I’ve tried smelled worse. I am very happy with the results and now subscribe and save so I never run out.

Possibly the good comments come from people who used it in the grout, but not to clean the the surface or porous parts of the travertine. . In my case, a fatal result, it didn't removed anything. Wasted my money.

I’ve been using this product for about a year. My normal cleaning routine is 1weekly. I didn’t have a mild and mildew problem cleaning once a week. But, I was in a terrible car accident and had to have surgery. I couldn’t do anything on my own. My shower was disgusting. I think it was 4 weeks until my sister in law finally cleaned it for me. It looked brand new! It wasn’t for another 3 weeks after that until after I was able to clean it. I didn’t think I was going to be able to get rid of the mold and mildew. I scrubbed and scrubbed. I also will say that I left the spray on it to soak while I cleaned the rest of the bathroom and our other bathroom. To my amazement, the shower was sparkling clean. It looked brand new! CON:The smell is quite strong so I suggest using a fan and cracking a window. Also, the price point is a little high for how much I have to use.

This product works! For years I have been scrubbing my grout and tile trying to get the orange color out of my grout. I have tried so many different products and nothing has worked. I finally came across this one and thought I would try. Look at the left half of the photo. That was after 10 minutes and a rinse. No scrubbing! This is the first time that my tiles have looked clean!

I removed mold and mildew from shower tile grout. Spray on wait 10 minutes and wash off!!! Amazing!

I've tried everything from all the big brands. If it had the word Mold or Mildew on the label, I have bought it and tossed it. But this actually took the gross away from the grout in my shower stall. Not 100% but still visibly cleaner. And no harsh smell - just vaguely bleach-y.

Read all information carefully and then apply. The smell is very powerful is the only drawback. Having said that make sure to turn on any fans that you have in the area. This is the best product that I have found for its purpose. I left it on overnight and all stains and mold were gone. I highly recommend the product. Shop arround because price differs greatly between sellers. This a market place product and there are no returns.

After having mould issues for a few years, Stone Tech Mould removal resolved the problem. We periodically reapply to ensure the mould doesn’t return.
