Cheap finishing and counterfeit product. Flimsy built and multiple dents on it.

Absolutely love this mustache and beard trimmer! I did not receive the model I ordered, receiving a better, heavy duty trimmer (not sold on Amazon) that contained all the same pieces, instead.This is my first beard, and trimmer, but it is working extremely well, exactly as described. The battery holds it’s charge for me about 9 days. The guards are plastic but all stirs and well made. Just put them on and snap into place! With the rotary dial it makes it super easy to fade your beard into your sideburns, and do precise trimming and contouring as needed.

I like this trimmer, it does a good job maintaining stubble and it's easy to clean.

Best trimmer I've ever used. Battery life is outstanding, I don't use any attachments as the blade gives me a clean, fast and easy trim. Also trims much closer than all the others I've had.👏

This trimmer comes with a wide variety of combs, trim attachments, a very good foil shaver and everything you need to do a good job on your face, neck, back of the head and around the ears. My main usage right now is to maintain a tidy 5 o'clock shadow. For days when I prefer to have a closer shave, I quickly attach the foil shaver and I'm shaving close to the skin, albeit not as clean shaven (on my face) as with a razor. All the attachments have their purpose and are well made. They come with a large leather pouch, so they do not get displaced. I love that you can wash this trimmer to keep it clean, without worrying about the water getting into the housing. So far, for my short facial hair, this trimmer has been a really pleasant surprise because it is versatile, does the job well and can be cleaned very quickly. These are all the things that I look for in a trimmer. Fully marks from me.

I owned a MB4040 for a little over 2 years till the battery crapped out on me. I was very happy with the all-inclusive design.Here's my weekly shaving routine: I trim down my head using the 4040 on 0, wet shave my whole head with a Schick Hydro, line up the burns and top of the stache with the straight razor, and I don't have a thick beard but I use the 4040 mostly on the #3-#5 settings and line up the bottom of the stache with the included liner blade. I like my lines really sharp and I felt that the 4040 could've done a little better in that area. I'm happy to say that the 4900 has picked up where the 4040 left off.I wish they were more clear on the type of "metal" blades they're using (i.e. stainless, titanium, galvanized steel, zinc coated, etc.) but Rem says it's totally waterproof. The chromey attachment with the dial on it is pretty convenient. It feels more sturdy in the hand than the 4040, utilizes a better material for grip, feels perfect in the hand and looks 20x better. I have a feeling that the foil attachment is supposed to do more than it actually does on me but I only use it to go over whatever the Hydro missed on my neck after I'm done. Although I never had an issue with these tabs breaking on the 4040, I wish that the tabs that hold the blade and attachments in place were metal. A feature like this though would probably up the price by $10-$15 and have the rest of the product outlast the battery (which, as it is, it probably already will).Thanks for the battery indicator and travel bag too - great product for my needs.
