Love these. Very nice to not have to worry about losing a cap, or remembering to put it back on. Technically, I suppose you do have to remember to retract the tip...There is a little trapdoor inside the barrel of the pen the opens to the let the felt tip out, then closes when the felt tip retracts, keeping it from drying out.It works great!Much more ergonomic than your usual, dry erase marker, but still pretty fat and unwieldy. Hey, what are you gonna do? It's a big hunk of writing felt!Long lived too...I first bought a set of these several years ago. I only bought this set because my old set was "borrowed". Mind you, I don't use them a lot so I can't vouch for how much ink is in the pen, but the did not dry out over the course of nearly a decade!

Also, I advise you keep them close by because trust me, your coworkers will want to steal them. Either because they have a compulsive clicking tic or because they're tired of listening to you click your markers all through your meetings.

The media could not be loaded.  These are great markers! They are so much better than an old-style marker that you have to take the lid off and put back on every time you want to write on the whiteboard. You can easily switch from color to color without having to fiddle with the lid. The markers open and close with a flick of a button with one hand. The tip is just like regular Expo markers wide enough to see on a white board. The shape of these is also much nicer than regular markers more ergonomic. They sit perfectly in your hand. Once you try these you will never go back to plain ole' expo markers with removable lids!

I really like this pen because in the middle of using it, you can retract the ink point and avoid marking yourself or your clothing. When I give talks, I tend to gesture a lot. If I'm unholding an uncapped pen, I'm always worried about where I'm putting the pen rather than listening to someone asking a question.With other pens, I'm devoting mental energy to keep track of then pen, avoid losing the cap if it's tacked on the back, or trying to remember where I put the cap. With these pens, I totally forget about and stop worrying about the pen, and it sort of fades into the background. So for that reason, I refuse to use any other pen during an interactive talk (though will happily use another to prep material if I'm doing it advance of the live talk).The sliding mechanism that pushes the ink point out works reasonable well. I have big thumbs and didn't think the slider was too small. I never have an issue sliding it out. The mechanism isn't terribly sturdy. I did have one slider mechanism jam on me. So that's 1 failure out of maybe 10 or 15 pens so far. I was able to jiggle it back into place, but still I was hoping it would be a bit more reliable.The main complaint I have is they ink doesn't last very long. To be fair, however, I use this pen on flip chart paper which probably consumes more ink than a white board. So as they say, your results may vary. So because the ink doesn't last as long, I think the pen is a tad on the expensive side.

We always love using these markers for our white board. Unfortunately, the red marker was dried out when we opened the package and tried to use it. The black and blue markers are good. Very disappointed.

I have to write and rewrite times on pans all day at work these markers make it quick and easy. Slide to reveal click it closed. Good ink quantity and quality thus far will be reordering these from now on.

EXPO IMO IS THE BEST WHEN IT COMES TO THE DRY ERASE MARKER INDUSTRY!! THE CLICK IS THE WAY TO GO, KEEPS INK FROM DRYING OUT AND ALSO GIVE YOU SOMETHING TO FIDGET WITH WHEN YOU ARE AT THE BOARD PACING AND BRAINSTORMING.HUGE FAVOR TO ASK THOUGH.....PACKAGE BLUE AND RED IN THE DOZEN BOXES OR OFFER LARGER RED, BLUE, BLACK PACKAGING OPTIONS....AND AT THE VERY LEAST....ADD GREEN TO THE CHISEL TIP LARGER CLICK LINE UP!!

Best erasable pen ever. I use it often on either board or dry erase wallpaper and it doesn’t stain.
