Fast setup, easy to operate, good shade
Bought this to take to the beach because we didn't want to rely on the umbrellas. I almost bought the Kelty version but decided to go with this one and I do not regret it at all! I usually buy high quality products from known brands because I do not like junk. Was a little concerned because about the quality of this name brand but it was a good gamble. We used this every day for 7 days at the beach. It weighs about a third of what those 10x10 pop up shelters weigh and it sets up in literally less than 30 seconds! Just pull the two ropes and boom, its open. Fill the 3 sand pockets to weigh it down and you are good to go. It also comes with some rope and some spikes to pin down the front if you want. The floor is long and wide enough to comfortably sit two beach chairs inside. The sun protection is outstanding (no light comes in through the inside with the windows closed). You can open or close the three windows with handy loops holders. Taking it down is a snap by pressing down the two orange rods at the top and folding it back up. (Takes about a minute to get it fully down and back in the bag)This is a good investment and well worth the money for the sun protection it provides. I sat in there for many hours each day and was very comfortable. There is 4 pockets on the sides and one overhead that I placed my JBL speaker it.The only negative that I found with it is the nylon strap that helps compress it so you can get it back in the bag is really cheap so I replaced mine with a better one. (get them for like a dollar anywhere)If you are on the fence like I was, take my word for it and get one, everybody around me was asking about it and wanted one! Take care!

Highly recommend!
We went to Panama City Beach and used this tent every day for at least 8 hours a day for 5 days! You can set it up with one person in about a minute or less, but take down requires a bit of effort so that it will fit back into the bag, it's not very heavy and it will fit easily in the trunk. It will fit 2 adults or teens or 3-4 small kids and a decent sized cooler. We had regular camping chairs but, low back beach chairs will be much better as to give you more head room. It's not very rugged but it's also not delicate, just try not to be too rough when handling it but its very stable when set up. I filled the sand pockets up to give it more stability in the wind and it comes with stakes and guy lines for stronger winds. The window panels allow for more ventilation should you need it and the pokets inside hold phones ,keys or other small items. The panel does zip up in case you want/ need some privacy. It will be much cooler inside this shelter than in direct sun even on the hottest of days!

THE BEST! IM GONNA TELL YOU EVERYTHING U NEED TO KNOW!!
Pros... (1) this thing is huge both me and my 6'8 husband could get into it easily and stretch out comfortably. (2) It keeps ALLLL the sun out. The black interior really really makes a difference. (3) This thing withstood some REALLY REALLY high winds on our 1st day at the beach. We tried to do it without the strings but read the directions and discovered that we need to use the lines in high wind conditions. (3b) The sand bags around it REALLY REALLY help. It seems they really put a lot of thought into the design of this unit. (4) I was able to stand up and I'm almost 5'9... now I had a little head/ neck bend but for the most part, i could stand up at the middle point of it. (5) speaking of standing up, I was able to zip it up, close all the windows and not only keep out the cooler air as it got later in the day & keep out the sun when unwanted, I was able to change clothes standing up. (6) It looks very aesthetically pleasing. We walked away from it down to the water and looked back up. It really looked very very nice compared to other tents and shelters out on the beach. (7) And maybe the most important pro, IT IS SUPER EASY TO PUT UP!!!! LIKE, SERIOUSLY! JUST AS EASY AS SHOWN IN THE VIDEO!!! NO JOKE!! I will record a video of us putting it up later. EXTREMELY EASY!CONS: It was INITIALLY really difficult to pack back up. Letting it down was easy but all the legs wouldn't fold in as shown in the video. But my husband just strong-armed the 1 onery leg (I was against it...I thought he would break it).... but that actually worked!!! After that, it was a breeze to put away (pun intended). (2) The window coverings flew up a tad impacting the privacy when I was changing clothes inside.ALL IN ALL... the pros FAR outweigh the cons. This is an EXCELLENT UNIT... ON sunny and breezy days at the beach.

Worth it!
Easy to use, great for sun protection, so easy to open, & set up is a breeze. Well worth the money, and I love this tent for the beach and soccer, etc. I wish there were better colors for appearance. The bag is junk and will tear if you try and get it back inside, but 🤷♂️I'm not paid for this and love it.

GREAT Beach tent!
This was was SO EASY to SET UP! I have NO idea how ANYONE could NOT do this by THEMSELVES!I don't understand at ALL how someone could review this as say it was difficult in ANY MANNER! I had a petite girl ALSO set this up-- I showed her ONE time, she had zero problem on her own, NONE!The take down was ALSO VERY EASY, you do NEED a SEQUENCE in taking it down, just practice it a few times ( a FEW) should work, if needed! So why only 4 stars?I only took to the beach 1 time! On the same day I got it! Wind was 12 miles per hour, and I just staked in the FRONT sides FIRST and the REST was NO problem!Taking it down does take a LITTLE more practice, Just work out a sequence that helps fold the tent more easily, a LITTLE practice is NO reason for a bad review! It IS HARDER to put the tent into the bag, the only improvement would be a LONG zipper on the BAG, to open and put this XL size tent into! It STILL folds tightly when using the supplied strap!I might get another strap to tighten it down more-- it is NO big deal! The material and stitching all seem very good, it was very sturdy in the 12 mile wind!I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tent for anyone and for families!I do say this with just 1 trip to the beach and I will give an updated review as I use it more!
