InstaNatural Glycolic Acid Cleanser Face Wash for Women & Men, Gently Exfoliating, Pore Minimizer, Anti Aging, Blackhead Remover, Acne Facial Treatment with Botanical Extracts, 6.7 Fl Oz

This isn't my "go to" brand of cosmetics, but I do love this cleanser. Number one, it's a glycolic cleanser, and we all need a glycolic cleanser to help with cellular turnover and to keep our skin bright. (I recommend using a facial brush with this.) This cleanser is strong enough to remove makeup, but I would think it's also gentle enough to be used on sensitive skin. I don't detect any scent, which is something I appreciate. This cleanser has caused me no breakouts, no rashes, no problems of any kind. I don't find it particularly moisturizing, however. I think it would be better used on oily skin than dry, but we're all different, and some people with dry skin may love it. It's filled with natural ingredients, which is another thing I appreciate very much. Men would probably like this cleanser as much as women. I think even children could use it. All-in-all, a good cleanser, but nothing that really stands out, at least not for me. However, no real negatives, either. If you're looking for a gentle cleanser, with natural ingredients, this may very well be the one for you.

I was looking for a cleanser that would gently exfoliate in tandem with my silicone face brush for daily washing. The other reviews are correct, you won’t be buying this product for its scent- it doesn’t smell good, but guess what? Most products that claim to be natural still include the use of artificial fragrances which can be nearly any chemical compound- companies don’t even need to tell you what they are as long as it’s listed under “fragrance”. Sketchy! So in reality, the slight funk of this product are just it’s ingredients. I don’t mind at all. I’ve used much more expensive brands that do not add perfume and there is a similar “ingredient” smell to it. That doesn’t stop the product from getting the job done! My face has been happy and smooth with this cleanser. The little flaky patches on my cheeks are gone, and no irritation. I also recently ordered the retinol cream to try out and have high hopes for it! If you are not super invested in the smell of your product (totally valid if you are) then I highly recommend this face wash.

I will start off by saying that this cleanser works well for oily, to combination skin it’s good for those with large pores. My skin type is combination skin with an oily T-zone and acne prone. I’m 29 and have struggled with acne since the age of 15, as adult I still struggle with it but it’s left me with lots of scars and indents in my skin mostly on my cheek areas. I have used this product for a total of 8 days now, I use it in the morning and when I’m about to go to bed so two times a day. I did notice the difference in my skin from the moment I first used it on my face, I noticed my skin had gotten lighter, brighter and my pores had shrank It did very well from my oily Tzone made my face look very clean to the point that I did not have to blot my face l all day!! it controlled my oily area very well because I have combination skin it did dry out some areas but nothing a good moisturizer couldn’t fix. Now as for helping with my acne, so far I haven’t seen any improvement although I haven’t had any serious breakouts I did have a little during my monthly, it didn’t help with clearing the breakout now this could be because I just started using it so I will update and see if it controls my monthly and my regular breakouts. The reason I took one star off is because I haven’t seen any improvement acne wise It also hasn’t helped with my scarring but that could be because I haven’t given it enough time So I will give it the benefit of the doubt and keep using it. Some people complained about the smell which I don’t see anything wrong with it, it smells very earthy, no floral scent or harsh chemical smell, And very little is needed to wash your face which is a plus being that you only get 6 ounces. As of right now I would highly recommend this for someone with oily skin, or combination skin, oily tzone with enlarged pores I also have noticed that it does help with blackheads if used with a silicone exfoliater, If you plan to use this take mine you need to use a moisturizer afterwards, I use Neutrogena sunscreen moisturizer during the day and at night I use my retinal moisturizer which causes no reaction to my sensitive skin. I will update this post with 5 stars if I see any Improvements in my acne as well as my scarring. Update I’ve been using it for almost 2 weeks now. Here are my thoughts I believe that this product is good for shrinking pores, Brightening skin and helping with Wrinkles, It rejuvenates my skin, makes it look more youthful looking. Now for the downside It’s not good for acne it does not improve it and if used every single day, two times a day it could irritate the skin, I used it twice day and ended up with a rash which I never do and this was the only new thing I’ve used on my skin, so now I use it only 3 times a week . I use Cetaphil DermaControl cleanser daily to help with acne, I will buy it again for it’s brightening, anti aging benefits, it controls my oily skin and I’ve seen improvement in my large pores my skin is so soft!

Have been purchasing tons of products on Amazon for many years but this is my first review. Always on the search for a great cleanser that does the job to clean my face, but also take my skin to the next level. From $5 drug store brands to the highest end at $300/bottle at Barney's department store I have tried them all. Purchased this product about 2 weeks ago along with the vitamin C serum and retinol moisturizer as my skin needed a massive boost. After my first day I noticed a significant improvement in the texture of my face and my hands. After two weeks my skin is looking and feeling so much softer smoother - fine lines and scars. I haven't seen these kinda results from a daily regimen before. Bought the peel also..just trying to find a good time to hide during the shedding period - but given how my skin is already looking- I'll be even more glamorous once I have had a chance to do the peel. Did not receive any incentive to place an order or review. Just excited to echo what everyone else is saying about this product. While my $300 bottle remains 3/4 full with its rusty lid bleeding into the product...I am fully prepared to reorder more of this as soon as I start to run low.

My favorite face wash! I have used this for almost 9 years on my cystic acne prone skin. This has been the only product to keep my skin irritation away, non-greasy and is very safe. It is great for all skin types, I have recommended it to several people and it is versatile and can used on all skin types. I love this product.

Purchased this because my mom had purchased one from one of those shows on TV a couple years ago. When I got mine, I was deeply disappointed. It seems like the formula has been watered down —even after shaking the container as the instructions indicate. I compared the ingredients and they’re slightly different. Hers came in a white pump bottle. It had glycolic acid, cucumber extract, organic chamomile a green tea extract. Her product was was great. I highly recommend that one if you want something that after washing your face, it feels and looks clean. This one, though gentle, requires a 2nd wash with my other reliable products. I will not be repurchasing this product. It’s too bad, because the original really was a great formula. Get yourself one of the original formulas if it’s still available.

This is a great facial cleanser. It helps fades my brown hyperpigmentation when others did not. So glad it’s back.

I'm a 40 yr old dark skinned female with mostly oily skin, but really dry around my mouth; my skin is also very sensitive and oils often clog my pores, causing breakouts. After visiting a medical esthetician, she recommended using a gel cleanser with glycolic in it. She also recommended using grapeseed oil as a moisturizer which shocked me - why would I put oil on already oily skin? I found this product on Amazon and didn't like that it didn't lather up like my old stuff and doesn't have a nice smell, but there is a lather. I stopped using lotions on my face and body. Wish I would've taken a before and after pic after starting this regime. My face was extremely oily, however around my mouth, it was extremely dry. Previously, in the morning, I'd have to slap on alot of lotion to prevent my face from looking like I rubbed chalk around my mouth and clogged my skin worse, but now, I wash, morning and night w/ the cleanser and use one small drop of grapeseed oil mixed with five sprays of aloe vera gel. I've literally had family members rub their hands across my face to confirm I was wearing no foundation/they all are shocked as they're used to seeing a grease monkey with uneven tone and acne flare ups. This regime definitely evened out my tone, helped with excess oil while simultaneously moisturizing my face.

really good. non drying. my son who has acne and very sensitive skin is also able to use it and he struggles to find anything effective for his skin.
