KnuKonceptz Karma Kable Twisted 10 Gauge Speaker Wire OFC - 10 FT Cable

Truly beautiful
I don't know that this wire performs any better than all the other speaker wires on the market. But I do know you'll be hard pressed to find a better looking one. I almost feel bad about hiding it on my system but I like a clean look.Other than that it's super flexible and wasy to route but its way bigger than I expected, only a little smaller than 0 gauge so be ready for that. And it's a real PITA to strip but it's doable.Overall I don't expect I will ever use a different speaker wire on future systems.

its the good stuff you have looked for but never found
opened the box from uspa yesterday and thought they sent me the wrong cable!! i ordered 4 guage for the amps and the speaker wire. first thing i said was holy effin jebus!!outer diameter of the cable is almost twice as large as the 4 gauge!! impressed . its a tad smaller than the diameter of your thumb. so i cut a section off and strip it back as looking at it i was thinking that ,ok i got some cheap cable with a lot of clear pvc that makes it look big. but nope!! this is 10 gauge speaker wire.. it is really thick cable .it is silver in color but NOT aluminum cable. (ya dont want that in stereos ) its aluminum over copper so it wont tarnish and turn colors on you.its twisted together like the picture but once you strip it back you can easily see that its real 10 gauge .lts very nice to look at but you wont be running it under a carpet or anything without a very small hump . its that thick.its twisted very tight so when you look at the cut end its seems to be smaller than it really is.i recommend it for anyone that needs serious speaker cable and don't want to pay a high price for a brands name that is nowhere as good as this.ok after installing this massive cable its a beast to work with .. the thick outer cover that covers the 2 wires inside is no fun to deal with . granted its like 20 degrees in Atlanta right now (s-19-2015) but that made it even worse. brung the box inside the house as its cold as witch tits outside and removed the subs and proceeded to take the subs out and wire them up.about 5 min to get it out the coating and to strip it back .hardest part was the outer coating.. that sucked. all in all it had be cutting and stripping for about 45 min just to get it out the coating for 2 dual voice coil subs..went to the car _in the cold_ and hooked it to the back of the subs and what do ya know!! this stuff was fighting back like a mad rabid dog!!. it got stiff in 5 min and was like trying to run solid core wire to the box.. lolol had to twist turn and fannagell with all my might to get it to twist so i could get post to pos and neg to neg side.. fun ? nope not at all. BUT the good part is this..its true 10 gauge .once you get it connected and it heats up a but it will "settle " to its normal position( on the floor, or what ever and how ever it will lay finally) and not be a prob.doing this in the cold? not recommended. works fine tho.. just wanted to add this part in the comments as folks wanna know how it works.. its cable thick cable and ya just have to deal with it..

Huge mistake!
When I first did my install I didn't have any speaker wire to run to my subs. So my only immediate option was local department stores. The best I could muster was some middle of the road 14ga wire. I didn't buy much because I knew I would replace it later. I believe I bought a 25ft prepackaged spool. I have a full size SUV and just cut the 14ga wire into 2 halves which wasn't quite enough to run a clean install and the wires ran directly across the carpet to the rear of the vehicle where my subs are located. I decided to upgrade my wire and went with this stuff. I made sure to order enough so I could run the wire neatly behind trim and paneling to conceal the wire as much as possible. Not gonna happen. I just received the package this morning. The package weight was similar to a 5qt oil jug from your auto parts store. I couldn't understand why it was so heavy so I immediately opened the box and looked inside. This stuff is as thick as 0 gauge power wire. This will be difficult to run neatly. However, the quality of the wire is outstanding. It's gotta be one of the best deals on Amazon for the money.

Need a pvc cutter or pipe cutter to trim the case..
Seems to be a good quality cable but the outer casing can be difficult to work with. I stumbled across a pvc cutter in my tool box which made the job a lot easier. Amazon still sells it - Orbit Sprinkler System 1/2-Inch - 1-Inch PVC Pipe Cutting Tool 26085. A pipe cutter would probably work pretty well too. See attached picture. The wire seems to be true 10 AWG but I didn't confirm. It's definitely more hefty than 12 AWG I have on hand. The casing seems to serve no purpose aside from cosmetic. Marine use maybe. Given that the wire is tinned, maybe that's what the manufacturer had in mind.Because the case magnifies the speaker wire by about 1.5x, the speaker wire looks massive when viewed through the outer casing, more like cable than speaker wire. If you want a 'different' look, this has it. The case can easily be covered with flex braid for a 'quieter' look.Good cable, good price. As long as you have a tool to trim the case safely and cleanly, highly recommended.

This stuff is HUGE
This wire is HUGE. Which is a good thing or a bad thing depending on your needs. The outside casing is about 9/16 in diameter. Its slightly larger than my 1/0 power wire. The wire inside is closer to 8ga than 10. My old 8 ga power wire is the same size as this. Which presented some issues with my push terminals. Either way it fit but I had to wire slightly different as 2 wires will not fit in one terminal. Cutting it is a pain so be careful not to knick the wires inside. This was way more than I expected. KnuKoncepts is a stand up company and I will continue to do business with them. Amazing quality, amazing price, HUGE wire. Love it.

Pure Tinned Copper 10 Gauge
This is my favorite audiophile speaker cable because according to the audio engineers at audioholics there are only 3 factors that matter in a speaker cable there is resistance inductance and capacitance for short lengths capacitance and inductance are not to be worried about at all but the resistance is the most important factor that matters in speaker cable and this cables is very good at getting rid of resistance by first having a thick gauge second it being all copper and next it being tinned so the connections wont wear off over time i used this type of cable with some tin plated copper ring terminals and red and black heat shrink to label polarity to say the least this is the best cheap speaker cable if your doing short lengths for a speaker setup.
