Super easy, came with everything needed. Used another brand that the earrings fell out too easily - had ZERO issue with the Firstomato kit! Excellent results, fast, painless (as a piecing can be anyway). Feels sturdy, not flimsy or cheaply made. Pen was super useful and the alcohol pads were perfect for sanitizing. Cute, simple gold balls - slightly smaller than a BB. Look great and were sharp for easy piercing. Would purchase again.

Update: first lobe ball healed nicely and I did another a few weeks ago. Also great experience! Added another photo of the 2 ball earrings. Another great product from Firstomato! My first purchase was their nose piercing kit; also a great buy! This disposable ear piercing kit is simple, clean and much less expensive than going to a piercing place for ear piercing. I’ve used lidocaine spray with all my at home piercings just to help with the anxiety. I highly recommend if you’re hesitant. The packaging verified sterilization, the alcohol pad was still moist (although I used my own rubbing alcohol spray) and the marker was perfect!! The spring mechanism worked as described. Zero pain with lido spray. Highly recommend for easy lobe or high cartilage piercings.

Completely and absolutely painless! Really easy to use, just mark where you want to have the piercing with the included surgical marker, line up the piercing gun (it helps to hold the backing against the back of your ear and line the barb of the earring with the mark you made), and just squeeze… the auto-piercer literally takes care of the rest in an instant. And when I say “no pain”, I mean it… I expected SOMETHING, but I’m almost five hours post piercing, and besides a VERY slight irritation that lasted about 5-10mins about 30mins after I did my ear, I’ve had nothing at all, even after giving it a clean with peroxide before bed. 100% would recommend for someone wanting to pierce their ears on the cheap!

This Firstomato ear piercing kit was a great find! My youngest wanted their ears pierced and was excited to have family help. I’ve pierced my seven-year-old‘s ears with these and they worked fantastic. If you’re not a professional, I definitely say use it your own risk. I suppose if you follow the instructions then it’s pretty easy to use. The hardest part to using this device is making sure that you don’t have uneven piercings so be sure to mark your kids ears accordingly with the marker they send. It was quick, so quick that my daughter didn’t even know I was done. The studs that came with it were small and cute. We’ve switched her earring since, but I would definitely recommend this to a mom trying to pierce their kids ears because it works great. Safe sterile way to pierce ears.

The piercing gun worked really well—quick, easy, and clean. The earrings are pretty and feel secure. My only complaint is that the 6-prong design tends to catch on clothing or towels, which is painful with fresh piercings. Just something to be aware of. Overall, a great kit for at-home use!

Easy to use. It springs into action with just a small squeeze and makes the process easy. It really didn’t hurt at all. I did my second holes (previously done and closed up) and it hurt so much less than when I went to get them done. I also did my son’s ear lobe. He said it was not bad at all. The earrings are cute and I would have left them in, but I did change them after a couple days to flat-backs because I’m a side sleeper and it’s just more comfortable. Would recommend.

Perfect. It did what it was supposed to and comes with everything you need. We did our twin babies ears and it was the perfect size. No problems. Comes with everything that you need at a cheap price. Well you still have to buy after care saline solution but other than that. Super quick, easy, simple to use. It works for all ages. I’ve purchased 3 of these kits now and would again.
