I’ve been using the NDakter Bike Chain Lock for a few weeks now, and I’m extremely satisfied with the quality and peace of mind it provides. The chain is thick, heavy-duty, and clearly built to deter theft — it feels much more robust than the cheap cable locks I’ve used in the past. The 5-digit combination is a big plus — more secure than the typical 4-digit ones, and easy to set/reset. The mechanism works smoothly without sticking, and it gives a satisfying “click” when it locks into place. At 3.2 feet, the length is perfect for locking my frame and rear wheel to a bike rack or post, and the protective fabric sleeve keeps the chain from scratching my bike’s paint. I love to cycle but I am always paranoid that I can't leave my bike unattended even if it's to make a quick stop to go to the bathroom. I have been shopping for a bike lock for quite some time and feel like after a lot of research I have found the best one. The NDakter Bike Chain Lock is not only one that is super easy to program your code but also one that feels very sturdy which features an external cloth covering which goes over the metal chain to make it harder for someone to try to cut it off and run off with your bike. The other things I really like about this product is that it comes in many different colors and 2 different lenth formats. There is a shorter one and I went with the larger one thinking ahead for if I am biking with my girlfriend or someone else we would be able to lock both bikes onto a bike stand and protect both of them from theft. The color varieties are almost endless, I went with the black to make it simple but I could have easily gone with one of the blues or reds. The last thing that I wanted to mention is that there is one drawback for some folks who are looking for a very lightweight bike lock. This is not the lightest bike lock and wanted to make a point to inform everyone, especially to those road cyclists like myself who are always trying to shed grams to be able to go faster on the bike. The weight component doesn't bother me especially because I know that it is because it is made really well and will do the job that I am wanting it do which is to protect my bike from theft. I highly recommend this product for those looking for a durable and easy to use and program bike lock.

I am updating this review and switching it to 5-stars. Their customer service responded quickly to an issue I had with the lock and even sent out a replacement with next day delivery. The new lock works great. These are very easy to set the personalized combination. This comes with a color instruction sheet packaged with the lock inside the box and the instructions are also printed on the bottom exterior of the box. The chain is wrapped in a nice flexible nylon casing that protects my bike frame from being scratched by the chain. I like the 5 digit combination as it make this lock more secure over the 4 digits other locks on the market. As I mentioned, setting the combination is very easy. The biggest plus for this lock beyond what it is intended for, is their customer service.

Decent lock and easy to set new password. The chain inside the covering is a bit noisy, but when I wrapped it around my seat post and started riding, I really couldn't hear it.

I purchased this to be used as a lock for my deck gate. I have a young child and needed it secure. This was the cheapest, easiest way to do it. There are tons of bike locks like this one, but the price and look of this one is why I chose it. I have to say, this has held up so incredibly well. It has been through all 4 seasons outdoors at this point, and it still functions as well as the day I purchased it. It is still easy to turn the numbers, and the cover has held up beautifully. It works exactly as I had hoped to keep the gate secured. I highly recommend this product.

This Bike Lock is really solid. I got the chain version (4/6 ft long, thick links), and it gives me a lot more confidence when I lock up my bike outside — the links feel heavy-duty and the 5-digit combo means no key hassle. The resettable code was easy to set up, and it’s versatile enough for bike, scooter, gate, or fence. The only thing is: it’s a bit bulky (so carrying it around means being okay with the weight). But for protection? I’d say worth it.

Very sturdy structure and easy to use combination lock. Gives me peace of mind to know you can't cut through the chain in a hurry, nor break the lock easily. My bike will stay locked to whichever rail/lamp post I choose :D
